Title: Please Vote for Richie\'s Video

A friend of a friend of mine cut a music video for the LA band Ozomatli, and entered it in a contest on the band\'s website.  His video made it to the top 3, and now he\'s competing for all the marbles.
 
Please click the following link and vote for Richard Lopez.  His video is pretty good.  Matthew Johnston\'s video is good too, but hey... he doesn\'t have friends like us, right?

Simspon\'s one was stupid.

Matt\'s was definitely the best out of the three.  Lopez dude just cut a bunch of video together willy nilly.  No compositing or anything.

Yeah....I have the same opinion. I do like how Lopez included the brass players, though.

Yeah, all the competitors used the same stock video of the band.  However, Richie Lopez shot the Los Angeles landmarks himself.  I thought it was cool that he made an "Ozomatli" star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  I don\'t think they have a real star...

Is ozomatli yiddish for "Cultural diversity or something? they look like a saturday morning kids show with all the races represented, trying to look badass.

I dunno what it means.  Cultural diversity is not something we try for in Los Angeles, it just kinda happens naturally.  We have people from everywhere in this city.  Ozomatli has been around a long time, and they are pretty well known in LA.

If the vote count can stay low then getting everyone you know to vote might sway things... on the other hand, I gotta say if the \'masses\' vote, Matt\'s will likely win, it really is a better video (although Lopez\'s is much better than the simpsons one).
