Anyone ever been to or lived in Dallas?

I\'m asking because I might have the option of working for Dallas PD soon, and I wanted to know what Dallas and the surrounding area was like.

I basically lived in Dallas for 8 years. I guess you should know that Oak Cliff is pretty rough, and that meth is a huge problem in the whole DFW area.

Deep Ellum is great! Lot\'s of music and clubs down there. But it can rough there too.
