Get ready to re-live all of the classic arcade action that made Mortal Kombat II a beloved classic. Brought back and available for download exclusively on the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system, re-experience the classic head-to-head fighting game featuring classic characters such as Sub-Zero or Goro. Players will fight their way through the Outworld and defeat Shang Tsung or battle hidden characters including Jade and Smoke!

Unlock hidden opponents with Mortal Kombat knowledge and skills. Head-to-head Combat in 10 Unique Levels – Use an array of combos to crush enemies before they crush you! Take the fight to one of 10 unique levels. Uppercut enemies in The Dead Pool to a nice acid bath or knock enemies into a pitfall in The Pit!
- Control Enemies’ Fate – Select which combo move to perform at the end of a match to determine one of three special endings (Fatality, Friendship or Babality)

Mortal Kombat II is scheduled to launch on April 12, 2007, on the PLAYSTATION Network for the suggested retail price of $4.99

eh?..i guess the ends justify the means..4.99? not bad at all.....i was a big mk fan back in tha day, and i consider two to be the best outta all of \'em, after two the series started to tank a bit, but the latest console releases as of late aren\'t really that bad...
-
1) Goro is not in MK 2
2) The last boss is Shao Kahn, not Shang Tsung
-
That\'s true. Looked like it was an official press release, did the company get its own game info wrong? Weird.

"Get Over Here! Come re-live all the fatalities that made Mortal Kombat II® a beloved classic. Brought back and available for download on the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system, play as 1 of 12 characters as you venture through realms, such as The Dead Pool, Kombat Tomb or Kahn\'s Lair. Battle all of your favorite villains such as Shao Kahn or Shang Tsung and unlock hidden characters including Noob Saibot. Decide your enemies\' fate with three different special endings and prepare to Finish Him!"
Thats from the official site.

$5 is too much. They should include multiple MKs at that price

will be the 1st download type game i\'m buying.
nothing on 360 live arcade or PS3 so far is worth the cost untill now.
-
you\'d be surprised with doom mm.
the single player is awesome, and great to play when your bored, but not up for a playing for a while.
multiplayer is dead since noone plays it.
And i did play doom when it was first out btw, so i am/was one of those avid "doom is only doom with the arrow keys and space bar." but i took it for what it was with the 360 controller
MK1 is on the 360 and i suck too much to buy it. Plus playing with friends is annoying as shiet let alone the 50x more annoying console community.
-
i own doom for no less than 4 different platforms already.
-
MK2 is my favorite of the series. I haven\'t played the newest one, but with it\'s half-assed fatality system... I think MK2 would still hold up.
-
I already have MK2 on to many platforms.... so i\'ll pass.
