I havent gotten insanely pissed off at a game in a very long time. Probably madden 05.
But mlb 2k7 has got to be the most frusterating game i\'ve ever played in my entire life. A little bit before, I used to win all the games. Sounds boring but they were close and i was having fun. Now, all of a sudden, im losing all of my f-in games by 1 to 3 runs and i dont even remember the last time i\'ve won a game.
It\'s impossible to see where the pitch is going, and borderline pitches from the CPU are ALWAYS called strikes. For pitching, all those borderline pitches are called balls, and batter rarely swing at balls, which force you to throw strikes which get racked.
and yet i keep trying to play this stupid ass game. It\'s fun, and i like the game a lot, but GOD DAMMIt it pisses me off. I dont think the part of my hand that\'s between my pinky and wrist hasnt been soar since i started losing all my games. Just 2 seconds ago, chris gomez (yea...chris gomez) hit a walk off homer
I havent broken anything until now, i slammed my 360 controller and broke the joystick. Waste of 40 bucks. I need to invent something that i can throw at a wall, thats hard, breakable, and inexpensive and doesnt do any damage. Only way i get less pissed off is if i break something cuz cushiony things dont do it for me.
-
FFX - chocobo race to get Tidus last weapon. Had to get a running time of 0.00.
cost two controllers.
I\'m not even going to mention the butterfly bullshit for Kimahri Ronso\'s weapon.

Throw little glass cups. You can get them for like a buck at any dollar store :)

MLB 2k7 has been driving me nuts too.
I
ll have a good, realistic game going... Like 3-4 in the 8th or something. Then I\'ll give up like 4 home runs in a row, all off good pitches.
Like I\'ll throw a slider down and away, perfect location, and someone will CRANK it pulled to left field.
That shit drives me crazy. Fuckin Ichiro pulling a 450ft home run off a slider low and away.
-
Virtua Tennis on Dreamcast. Final level - King I think? Cost me a dreamcast controller. Very satisfying though.
-
Battletoads
Double Dragon II (the very last level where you have to jump on those small ass platforms to get to the boss)
TMNT 1 for NES

TMNT 1 for NES
Growing up I just assumed you couldn\'t beat the game. A couple years back I decided to try it again using an emulator and save states, I couldn\'t bring myself to ever finishing the game. I just remember drowning in the dam trying to diffuse the bomb oh about 3,000 times.
The Tomb Raider series cost me a controller or two.
-
TMNT 1 haha I remember that game.
Furthest I can remember getting was to the bomb underwater and the turtle van.
good times.
-
After a while, I was good at diffusing the bombs. I always had problems in the turtle van. I guess that\'s where the Game Genie would have come in :)

The lightning dodge crap for Lulu was also beyond annoying.

exact same thing happens to me. For once, i was up 4-0 in the 3rd inning and thought i was going to destroy them, at least bea them..ended up staying 4-0 till the 8th when they got 5 runs in one inning and i couldnt get any more runs
-

the lightning one there was actually a trick to do, you had to stand in a ceartin spot and if you hit the button every 3 seconds you would dodge it every time.
-
There was another trick, but it had nothing to do with any spot to stand in. Either way, I\'ll never do that again.
-
Tomb Raider 3 was KILLING ME
And some of the random battles in the FF series!
There should be more but I cant remember right now
Never broke a controller though
-
I downloaded "Kid Icarus" from the Wii store so I could give it another shot. I remember playing it on the NES. Games were definitely less forgiving back then.
Playing the same levels over and over and over was a normal practice. All the oldschool games still frustrate me a bit.
-
Rayman...the PSX one from many years back. Probably 1996.
Kratos: Challenge of the Gods 10th level.
-
Madden has cost me a couple PS2 controllers, I would never through my Xbox controllers considering how f\'n expensive they are.
-
Tomb Raider 3 - some of the worst level designs and gameplay in video game history...followed closely by angel of darkness...
Flashback - this game had some combat area\'s that i died in over a million times, but even tho i died all of those times, this game was extremely fun and kinda ahead of it\'s time...great game for the genesis...
blasing lasers - forget it,..when you came to the higher levels of this game? this shooter was merciless, you had a sense of relief when you finished that game....*turbo-graphx 16*
The Legendary Ax _ this was also another game that was extremely fun but some of the platform levels, and some of the bosses towards the end were extremely cheap...good times on the turbo-graphx 16
alot of the games that pissed me off was from the 16 bit area and down...with the exception of the tomb raider series *well the ones that i listed*....when the 32 bit era emerged, i think games were beginning to evolve with better gameplay mechanics and levels....
-
No Limit Texas Hold Em..
Taking bad beats to inferior or dominated hands!
-
I think I\'ve only thrown a controller once ever. I stood up in my room and threw my controller straight up into my ceiling playing Ncaa football 06. Amazingly the S controller survived. If it was a dual shock....
-
RAYMAN hoodlum havoc... I broke 2 on that one... one of the snowboardy-type levels with the tripped out psychedelia. I\'d get right to the end and fall off like 50 times....I was even stoned, and I got that pissed off....
-
Trying to get the last two missions on 007 mode in Goldeneye (jungle and satellite I think)... Super hard to unlock, it took me hours and hours to finally get through those.
I am a Goldeneye magician now, though.
-

I agre with titan buy cheap glasses, pretty sure you can pick up a ton of them for little money at dollar stores. Or heck even yard sales.
-
welp...add a fan to my list
the game would be madden 08 and the gay fucking interceptions in the game where people levatate in front of recievers
Broke one of the three fans..but i duct taped it up..works alright on low but anything above that it gets too wobbly and gets all loud
-
i\'m goin\' to sign you guys up for anger management!..:p....even tho games have gotten me pissed, i\'ve never broken a controller or even thrown one across the room. But like i mentioned before, most of the games that pissed me off were from the 16 bit area and down,...alot of the bosses and gameplay from that era were extremely cheap...
-
I usually throw my controllers at the soft rug. I\'ve never thrown controllers at anything or broke anything *knock on wood*
-
I\'ve had games that piss me off that much, but not enough to ever throw the controller. I tend to grab it in both hands and twist it.
-
I used to play ISS:PE on the ps1 a lot with a friend of mine. It can be one of the most frustrating experiences because sometimes it just didn´t matter how good you were, if the game wanted you to loose, you did! I can´t remember how many times I threw that disc out the window, litteraly scraped it at the wall, kicked it around the room. Weird thing is I always came back for more afterwards! (for some reason it never stopped working despite the brutal beatings it got)
