that is some scary s**t!...how do you know how many eggs hatch in you?...at some point i guess all of the larvae burrow to the surface? or do they just continue to feed on the host? either way that s**t will make me NOT want to visit the tropics...

Fuck that....I will never go to south america or africa for this reason and this reason only...Well, after seeing Blood Diamond and The Constant Gardener, I think Africa should be wiped clean of human existence and let the animals take over...

what you got against africa yo?...:mad:...;)...to be honest i wouldn\'t mind hittin some of those island resorts, and from what i understand you do have get some shots of medicine before you go over there, but i don\'t think it could protect you against s**t like that....as a matter of fact i wouldn\'t want to chance it...

there was a series of programmes on tv in the uk a year or so ago called body snatchers.
there was a young girl on who had one of those things on her neck, they said the fly laid it\'s eggs on the inside of her swimsuit, and when she put it on, the eggs hatced and the maggots burrowed into her skin.

i didn\'t particularly care for the racist remarks made in the comments area....people can be such A**holes sometimes and it\'s runnin\' amok in that comments area...aside from that tho...that s**t just looked like mud comin\' outta his leg.....i guess that is what happens when the people over there have to drink that water over there....no filtering or cleansing process to be heard of...i\'m sure that same person has an array of other problems health wise as well....and i\'m sure the water they\'re drinkin\' has those same or similar parasites listed in this thread. you really gotta appreciate that we have in general clean drinking water and utilities in our immediate environment...
