I thought this was a pretty good deal. I just bought one and there\'s around 80 left in stock. Just thought I\'d let you guys know in case you care. I see these for normally 60 bucks or so at the store...which is ridiculous.

I paid like 30 for my 128MB a couple years ago. Amazing how prices go down. It seems to me that technology is the only thing in our consumer market that goes down in price with time instead of up.

I just got mine in the mail...was definitely not as advertised. It\'s a Kingston DataTraveler...and it is 2GB...but it is not the product they have on the site. It\'s white and green, not clear blue...and the cap which is supposed to come off by "squeezing both sides" actually just comes off extremely easy by gently pulling it off. I mean...it works fine...it was cheap...and it\'s 2GB...but this is seriously false advertising. It\'s like ordering a blue hat and getting a green one that isn\'t as good quality. Can\'t really complain about the price though.

Well, 2 gb Kingston is still a good find for that kind of cash. :)

I was a little upset, but when I flipped it around to find "Kingston" written on there, I felt a bit better. :) So yeah...it\'s still a good deal.
Here\'s what it actually looks like ~>

It\'s pretty friggin\' slim. It\'s quite a bit smaller than the 512MB one I have.

Haha. Buyer beware I guess. But you did get away with a better drive than you expected so I guess you got away winning.
-
A thumbdrive is a thumbdrive especially when its that cheap. Its shady that they gave you a different model but in honestly, even if it wasn\'t kingston it wouldn\'t have been a drastic cause for alarm.

Unless they have a program on the thumbdrive that tracked every move you made on your computer. Its a ploy by the government I say.

Whoa...guys...look at their site now. It\'s like a conspiracy. They now have the green and white one advertised on their site alongside the blue one. Mmmkay, that\'s weird. Maybe they saw this thread? ;)
Edit: What the crap? It changed again. They\'re a little weird. Now there\'s a black one and a gray one. o.O They just now added this message as well ~> "Note: Colors and styles of the drive are subject to change without notice. The drive you receive might not look like one of the drives pictured. However, it will comply with the listed specifications."
That wasn\'t there before. Sneaky, I tell ya.

Or a lot of people complained they didn\'t get the drive they saw.

^^
That too.
