Title: I hate pepper spray

Yesterday me and my academy got pepper sprayed and put in the CS gas chamber.  Now I have been sprayed with the normal 5% OC spray, and it burns but it\'s no biggie.  Yesterday I was sprayed with 18% police grade OC and I thought I was going to die.  The tear gas was nothing, it made my eyes water but that was about it, and once I was out of the chamber the pain went away.  However, the OC spray hurt immensely for a solid hour.  I had to pry my eyes open and run in circles so that I could get a breeze on my eye balls.  

Apparently I\'m close to non-reactive to CS gas but highly reactive to pepper spray.  All I know is thanks to yesterday if anyone pulls pepper spray on me I will feel justified in shooting them, because if I don\'t they can easily take my weapon from me and kill me, or pull a weapon on me and I wouldn\'t even be able to see it coming.

I sprinkled some pepper over my eyes once when I was a kid.

Felt kind of awkward.

Why are you sprayed?

Because he\'s been a bad, bad boy. :D

My guess would be because he\'s a copper. And he has to know the effects of using pepper spray on his own body. Either that or he just thought it would be erotic.

sammy\'s correct.  They spray us so that we know that it hurts like a fucker, that way we don\'t use it so liberally on hippy college kids.  We also get sprayed so that we know what it will do to us, in case someone threatens us with it we know that if sprayed, we have about 1 second (for me anyways) to react (ie. shoot them) before we can be overtaken.
