I want to buy (3) 750gb Sata drives.
Is there a more reliable brand to go with? WD? Seagate?
-
I\'ve always gone with Seagate, never had a problem with them. Got a 80gig hd ATA thats friggen old in my ps2, still going.
Using 2 320gig SATA II drives atm, both working in tip top shape.
Go seagate, Western Digital is also a great brand. Although that was when i used to check them for faults.
3 750gb hds.. Thats a lot of porn!!

You can\'t go wrong with either. I think Seagate has the better warranty, so I\'d go with them as well.

Edit system is a storage whore. I have a terrabyte now and I am always fighting with going below 200 gig available.
I guess I\'ll just go with the best deal if they are both reliable. I\'ve had both as well and I think I have ony had one failure in my life and it was an external seagate drive.

I currently have a SG and a WD. The SG is going on four years old and still works great. I\'d the say the WD is around a year old.. Before that, my previous system was all SG drives - never had a problem.
With that said, my system I am building now, will have the two HD\'s I just mentioned, plus two more SG drives.
So, I guess I am a SG whore.
