I once did a story on dreams and went to a sleep study.  Pretty weird.  I\'d find it hard to sleep with all of that crap on me.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_apnea

I\'m really tempted to edit & delete that whole article and just say

"Trouble breathing while sleeping."

I had a little trouble falling asleep with the first mask it only covered my nose. So they switched to the full face mask,, personally i thought i was awake alnight. But they said no i did fall asleep, and thx its not just trouble breathing you actually stop breathing. So now i have to wear a breathing mask when i sleep.

This all sounds like a good old fashion angel of death attempted soul snatch. Science is a myth.

that sometimes happens to me, often when I\'m in light sleep, I realise it\'s happening and wake up.

it\'s supposed to be fairly common actually, most people that are affected by it, don\'t realise it.

thats the problem. especially when you\'re older, since it can be pretty deadly. reggie white died from it (popular former nfl football player)

at least for serious sleep apnia. I also have the same thing happen in light sleeps that ur talking about but sleep apnia is a bit more serious

Lots of people suffer from this. I know two people who suffer from it and they have to wear the mask. I think you breath nearly pure oxygen so you don\'t inhale as much, preventing you from snoring. Just guessing here.

If not treated it can cause heart damage, and definitely reduce your life span.

Actually gman the machine just blows filtered household oair on your face. It is already pogrammed with your settings. and detects when you stop breathing.

They gave me a paper with all the symptems.

Just regular air? I can\'t see how this could help unless you have some mouth piece to keep your palate from collapsing.

Erm...you can die in your sleep from this. I\'d suggest getting some better recommendations. Being overweight can lead to sleep apnea. High cholesterol, etc...

You should get thoroughly checked out by a doc. I know in your condition it might be a pain in the arse to lose some weight, but it could help you a lot. Anyway...I hope that whatever you do works out. Sleep apnea kind of scares me a bit.

I get a reaction to braces on my teeth and my gums swell and bleed. First I was breathing through my mouth all the time, so I stopped that and the swelling came down a lot. Then I stopped smoking (again recently) and now to make sure i\'m not breathing in my sleep they want to send me to a sleep apnia doctor. Retarded. I don\'t have problems breathing or anything like that.

I originally told my orthodontist that my mouth felt dry in the morning. But now I\'m starting to think that my mouth is just hot and sticky and thats what it supposed to feel like, I don\'t know. Everything tastes different since quitting smoking =/ that how your supposed to feel before you brush in the morning?

*braces self for incoming cock jokes*
