I\'m an Ohio State fan and it still pains me to see Michigan lose that game, embarrassing.  Makes the Big 10 look like shit!

The most victorious college football team is now the only college football team to ever been ranked and beaten by a div-II school.

The Spartans could potentially lose every game for the rest of the season and I still wouldn\'t call it a loss.

Additionally, because I like doing this, how pathetic is \'the big house.\'  107k and they make less noise than Spartan Stadium on average.  If i went to Michigan, I think i would go to the football games just to be able to scream my ass off because of all the ugly ass girls that attend that university.

Find me a stadium louder than Florida field.  It ain\'t gonna happen.  I\'ve been to a lot of huge games and you will never hear anything like what it\'s like on the floor of Florida Field.  SEC rocks.

Yawn, stuff like this is why writers and everybody other than the SEC laughs about them.  The Shoe easily competes with The Swamp.

Oh and just to remind you, the SEC went 1-2 against the Big 10 in bowl games last year.

Oh but the one we won was stellar.  Find me a writer who laughs about the SEC. I don\'t really give a shit about what the Big 10 fans laugh at.

Here\'s an article where the press is obviously ragging on the SEC

http://www.msnbc.com/modules/sports/collegefootballstadiums/default.asp

Here\'s another one.

http://www.fanblogs.com/ncaa/004047.php

I just typed in loudest college stadium in google and these are the first two up.

Found one that gave OSU the edge.  By a little.  But 3 of the top ten are SEC.  Damn fans.

Why Tennessee would do a home and home with Cal is way beyond me.  That\'s a long way to go to play a game.

And Stewart Mandel is a Northwestern Grad.  Yeah, that\'s not biased at all.

The same reason why Ohio State did a home and home with Texas and is doing a home and home with USC.  They aren\'t scared to.

As for Mandel being biased, thanks for showing how little you know.  Him being from the Big10 has no bearing considering he was talking about the SEC in general, not the Big10 compared.  I\'ve never noticed a bias in his articles.  Boy he must be biased since he isn\'t from a SEC school...

Louisville wins again, putting up 58 points in one game.   Next week they play UK, as someone who lives in Kentucky, this is the big game for everyone around "these parts". I personally expect Louisville to beat the living shit out of UK, or at least I hope.

OSU does a home and home with Texas and USC because they have to for the strength of schedule because the big ten isn\'t worth shit.:gfight:

Actually, the Big 10 usually does pretty well by the numbers, which with the BCS in place, is really all that matters.  Ohio State didn\'t need to beat Texas last year to make it to the national title game.  If that game had been Appalachian State, they still woulda been in that game, so it\'s definitely not true that they need it.

shhhhhhhh.....  more fun to get bozco riled up....

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/football/ncaa/06/19/schedules.top25/index.html

How many Big Ten schools in the top ten toughest schedules?  1

Probably because SEC takes up half the freaking spots.

8 of the top 25 toughest schedules are from what conference?  want a hint?

Hey Bozco, can you do a little research and find out how many times Ohio State has beaten an SEC team in a bowl?  just curious.

I\'ve had this conversation with luke but i\'ll pose the question to you guys.
What is the point of cheering for a college you didn\'t go to? Maybe if youre a townie but thats it. I rooted for Michigan when i was a kid but have a hard time finding a team to get behind now. I root for the Big 10 because it kinda represents my region. And if I had to choose i would pick Northwestern or NIU. But I still dont understand how people can live and die for a school they didnt attend
Title: Ha! Screw Michigan!
Post by: Luke on December 03, 2007, 11:41:37 AM
Yeah, I agree. I root for Wisconsin just because I\'m from Wisconsin, and I need a team to root for.

But really I just root for the Big Ten.

I remember living in Ann Arbor and seeing these total fanatics in town.... Like, painted thier trucks UM colors, always wore UM stuff, then you ask them if they went there and 90% of them didnt.

I say that to my wife.  kind of funny.  There was a redneck goofball that lived next door to me at my old house who was die hard FSU.  That mother fucker has never even driven through Tallahassee much less gone there.

I don\'t mind people rooting for a school, but die hard fans that didn\'t go to the school that get all up in your face drunk in a bar I have no patience for.

All I remember is the fact that we\'ve never lost to LSU.  I\'ll admit that the SEC will probably get the best of the Big10 this year but you should be careful what you wish for. The only bowl games the Big 10 won last year were against SEC teams.

god, that would be embarrassing to lose twice.  Especially to a team as underaged as Florida.  UF had two bad recruiting years 3 and 4 years ago that has pretty much killed the defense.  But it\'s all turning around now.  :thumb:

Maybe if you guys didn\'t lose 3 times you could find out.  On a side note, all these warm weather teams are pathetic.  Football is about cold weather.  Maybe they should try to play outside of their backyard just once.
Title: Ha! Screw Michigan!
Post by: videoholic on December 06, 2007, 03:00:25 PM
What are you talking about?  there is like maybe one or two games at the end of the year during cold weather.  Why would we play out of conference that late in the season non rivalry?  That\'s retarded.

And again, we have three losses because of our defense.  sucks, but we will be very good for the next few at least...

Yeah, our defense blew this year... And damn we need a running back.  You can\'t have an offense with only two people.  Thank god we get the dude from USC next year.  Big Ten will go 2-1 this year against SEC.  Maybe Ohio State can beat LSU, but I doubt it.  That\'s like a freaking home game for them.  Didn\'t SEC win more bowl games than any other conference this year?  Not sure cause Arkansas was way over matched by Missouri.  How that team didn\'t get in BCS is beyond me.
