What starving children in Africa?  I can\'t see them from my back porch where I sit and drink coffee every morning.  So they must not exist.

Aside from purchase cost, the thing must cost tons in terms of seasonal maintenance.

Besides, it looks more like an extended porch rather than a true backyard garden.

I\'d definitely classify that as a porch. When I think of back yard, I think of something open where sun can shine down on any reasonable angle. A yard I can play ball in and not worry about hitting a ceiling. Definitely a porch....a very nice, expensive porch.
