Cheaten bastards. They might be kicked out til 2009.

What\'s ridiculous about this is that McLaren was stripped of their constructors championship points, but their two drivers can retain their drivers championship points because they cooperated with the investigation. That\'s completely crazy.
Either McLaren benefitted from the information they stole from Ferrari, or they didn\'t. If they benefitted, then the drivers benefitted also. Technology plays a greater role in Formula One than in any other motorsport. It\'s absurd to penalize the constructors points, and not the drivers points.
I got sick of F1 a couple years ago due to all the political bullshit that goes along with it.
-
Perhaps the reasoning is the drivers had no knowledge. Just that McLaren sucked ass last year and now are kicking ass this year.
-
And why are they kicking ass? Mostly because of stolen technology, NOT because of the drivers. The drivers should not receive credit for their championship points just because they were the monkeys behind the wheel.
-
there\'s more to this than a lot of people pick up on.
point being that ferrari are not the whiter-than-white innocent team in this
they ALLOWED their tech docs to be leaked, then alleged nigel stepney was responsible.
there should be an extensive external investigation into their dealings in this matter before any judgement is passed on, but there won\'t be, because there would be a lot of dirty laundry being washed in public that may implicate several key personal at marinello
don\'t jump in and assume that this is all mclaren\'s doing, just because they were "caught" with the doccuments.
there were people directly involved in this, mike coughlan (who mclaren dismissed as soon as it came out into the open) and nigel stepney, who has maintained his innocence in all this, and claims to have been set up
stepney himself has urged the FIA & WMSC to do a lengthy investigation into ferrari\'s part in the whole scandal, but they haven\'t, and I suspect they won\'t, because they have a vested interest in them.
ps.
in my opinion, and in the opinion of most F1 fans, the driver DOES make a fdifference, albeit only a few hundredths of a second over a lap.
it\'s been my belief that through this season ferrari has the better car, and mclaren have the better drivers

they didn\'t suck ass last year, they weren\'t as fast as ferrari or renault on raw speed, but they didn\'t suck ass.
they had a fast car, but as fast as it was, it had shite reliability
