I am not a huge fan of Half-Life 2 (vehicle levels killed it for me.), but I cannot wait for Team Fortress 2. The original rocked and the new style is amazing. Can\'t wait to see what it looks like 1680 x 1050 with everything turned on.

I just bought a new monitor , so gonna upgrade my videocard. Lookin\' at the newest ATI cards, figure I\'ll spend around $400 for that. Not sure what to do with this card tho (x1950 Pro - 512 meg).

Anyway, I\'m also waiting to get my dirty hands on TF2 and Portal. Both games look like lots of fun (TF2 more so).

it comes with that, minus half-life: lost coast or CS: source.

and circuit city has it for 12 bucks off this week on PC, so its a damn good deal. insanely tempted to get it since its such a bargain but between bf2, stalker, bioshock, madden, halo 3...eventually call of duty 4 and assassins creed...thats the only thing stopping me

Post by: Joker on October 07, 2007, 05:17:02 PM: Another nice looking PC game is Project Origin, the sequel to F.E.A.R. I watched the 18 minute demo video on IGN and it looks pretty cool. I actually like the fear story line a fair bit aswell.

Also Raz i\'m assuming your going to pick up Crysis for something shiny to go with that monster video card of yours. Be sure to post some screens.

Post by: Viper_Fujax on October 07, 2007, 06:00:31 PM: the clips on gametrailers makes me wish i spent 2500 to play crysis on high/dx10. Even the gameplay looks awesome, with some new type of multiplayer objective-based thing.

Hopefully ill be able to run it on mostly high whenever they release the demo

People have been talking about this game for sooo damn long, expecting this to be the most amazing game ever made that sets the bar for next gen pc games. Good luck living up to that

Only reason I will pick Crysis out is to show what my system can do and find the faults in it.

Post by: Joker on October 08, 2007, 09:19:33 PM: Same here. Heard a ton of things about Far Cry but never played it. Lots of people seems to be talking about Stalker too but I know next to nothing on that one as well.

Btw i\'m not rooting for Crysis to fail or anything like that. I hope its a really solid game. But its a game thats being sold almost entirely on its graphics so I don\'t hold as much hope for it as other titles.

TF2 really is a lot of fun. You know you have been owning enemy snipers on the \'fort\' map, when they start using spy instead to knife you in the back. But a few rounds as pyro takes care of that. :)

Also it seems I have a HL2 I can gift away... cool beans.

I play as a Pyro / Eng, mostly Pyro tho\'.. Been playing for awhile now and love the buffs that the Pyro has received since the start of the beta.

My favorite classes so far are: Eng, sniper, spy and scout. But honestly, all the classes are fun in their own way. Perhaps except the medical dude, I only pick him to help out the team.
