I rented this along with the atrocious 28 weeks later....ok 28 weeks later wasn\'t that bad, but you all already know how i feel about that mockery of a zombie film...now this movie here?....it stays true to what it is,... a true slasher of a movie with gore and chaos throughout the film...and no shaky camera tricks here...the gore is in your face!....the story is kinda "B" style campy stuff, but what\'s here is good, a great weekend rental.....i think this movie\'s competitor is probably "the hills have eyes" series because both are very similar in nature, and the gore in both movies are not cheap looking. :fro:
Overall, a very good horror joint that doesn\'t try to be bigger than what it is, and the deformed monstrosities roaming around up there in west virginia are some of thee ugliest mutants around....

If you\'re into some thriller movies, rent the Japanese movie called "Audition". Me and mm have made our own threads about this.
If you like war movies, rent "Brotherhood of War". It\'s a Korean war movie in the vain of Saving Private Ryan. You\'ll be happy you rented this.
AND PLEASE....don\'t use the voice overs. Use the sub-titles.

well "High Tension" was another good horror joint...up until the ending..i think they let a 5 year old do the editing on the ending of that movie because there were plot loopholes all over the place...but whatever you do...DO NOT see the movie "bug"...that was one of thee worst movies ever...i\'m watching this thing thinkin\' there\'s some type of mutant bug or that somebody was going to actually turn into one....trust this movie was nothing but a lot of long winded segments that had nothing to do with anything....stay away at all costs....
Oh and qdog, about that chick,....i don\'t think she\'s in it...this is an all-new different cast for this one.

Bug was stupid as hell. I watched it because it got some decent reviews so I thought it would be a good creepy movie. One of the dumbest movies i\'ve ever paid money to see.
For tonight I just rented 1408 with John Cusack and Planet Terror. Which is Robert Rodriguez\'s half of Grindhouse.

I, being the huge zombie film guy I am, LOVE both those movies. But they are not zombie movies!
28 weeks later is still one of my favorite movie experiences.

lol, just playing. I kind of want to see 28 weeks later but I\'m too reluctant to watch movies right now, which kind of sucks. I have HBO for the time being, and i randomly record movies i want to see, and even though i loved the movie (last one was blood diamond), i still think to myself \'it\'s already night because i watched this damn movie\'

Blood Diamond was an excellent movie,..i think you were the one that recommended it to me actually....good film..:fro:....and yea, i\'m waaay late with the Sin City film....maybe i\'ll rent it this weekend.

She plays a lot of annoying roles, but she\'s cool in this one. This is the only movie I\'ve watched with her in it that I haven\'t attempted to throw inanimate objects at the TV every time she appears on screen.
