Looking to buy a new game but Kane & Lynch seems to be getting mediocre reviews. But the story looks awesome. Repetition doesn\'t bug me most the time in a game so I just want to know if the action is as good as in the trailers.
Kane & Lynch or Unreal Tournament 3 but i\'ve already purchased Call Of Duty 4, Crysis, Team Fortress 2 and BioShock so I didn\'t really want to pick up another shooter.
Was also looking at getting Guitar Hero III (i\'ve never played a GH game) but I read that theres problems with the PC controller and that you need to use the keyboard...which kind of defeats the point of a guitar hero game imo.
I would LOVE to play Assasins Creed, Mass Effect, or Uncharted. But none of those are on the PC or on its way to PC, with the acception of AC.
Any other suggestions for a good PC game?

Viva pinata

Although not particularly new Overlord (http://www.gametrailers.com/player/19220.html) looks like fun.

STALKER is all iv really played on pc for a while. Fun game if your into those types of games..a little time consuming but i like the whole idea of scavenging off people you kill for survival, but also mixed with realistic shooting/guns

Well I ended up getting Kane & Lynch and after a few days with it i\'m not really happy with the purchase.
Enemies are amazingly retarted, bland graphics, invisible walls. Only saving grace of the game is the story line. All 5 hours of it =/
I\'m espeacially dissapointed with it because I hadn\'t heard of World In Conflict until yesterday and after playing the demo i\'m kicking myself because I didn\'t pick that up. Thankfully xmas is just around the corner.

Reviews are your friend. Kane & Lynch was dogged from the get-go. I would of recommended Overlord or Portal.

I read the majority of reviews for Kane & Lynch so I don\'t really have an excuse for getting it. I just didn\'t think it would be that bad still.
I beat BioShock a few days ago, I know you said it bored you but BioShock was one of the best games i\'ve played in years and easily makes my personal favourites list. I was totally engrossed in the world of Rapture and its inhabitants. I loved picking up the audio diaries of the citizens. I loved the art style, the 1950\'s feel was excellent.
Crysis has been fun so far but I don\'t have that same urge to keep playing to see what will happen next as I did with BioShock.

got overlord.. Gets boring pretty quickly.

If you want a non-shooter and a game with massive play time, get The Witcher.

I know its a while away, but keep your eyes out for Fallout 3. Bioshock pretty much just ripped the art direction directly from that series.

.. still waiting on second Witcher patch, so I can bother loading it up. As of right now, the loading times are god awful.
-
Thats exactly why I haven\'t touched The Witcher for about 3 weeks. The load times are terrible and there is A LOT of them. I did go buy World In Conflict and i\'m having a blast so far. Not as big of an online commmunity as I would of thought tho.

I\'m definately checking out Fallout 3 when it gets closer. I\'ve never played a Fallout game but i\'ve heard generally good things about the first one. Then didn\'t people hate the second one? maybe I have it confused with a different game.
As for right now tho, i\'ve been glued to World In Conflict. For an RTS game it has one of the most enjoyable multiplayer experiences i\'ve had in awhile. This is the first RTS i\'ve played since like...Starcraft. So its been awhile but out of all the new games i\'ve purchased recently, this and BioShock have been my favourite so far. If your a fan of the RTS genre I highly recommend it. I was wrong about the community, it may not be massive but it is ceartinly tight nit. I see random people from the Sierra WIC forums constantly throughout the day, also the custom made maps are excellent. I get my ass kicked online, but its still a lot of fun.

I wish i liked RTS games. I played command and conquer: generals for like a week and liked it a lot...but outside of that week i\'d get uninterested in them
Endwar looks amazing but im afraid of the same thing happening
