I can see this really messing up peoples electronics. They may be AA size but the voltage and amps are different. Have fun frying your stuff.

I already saw that, than 30 minutes later someone showed one that just had a lot of other stuff in it... I think it depends on the brand.

Even if some brand of lantern battery contains AA batteries (which I doubt), who says they are rechargable? They\'re probably standard "heavy duty" batteries; not even alkalines.
