Title: Rosetta Stone worth the money?
Post by: Viper_Fujax on December 31, 2007, 07:35:28 PM
Im going to learn Italian, and was going to use a computer program plus a class (or a few) at school. heard rosetta stone was great, but maybe their ad\'s just got engraned in my head that it was better than im thinking, lol.

Was just wondering if anyone else used the program or any other ones that were good. I\'d have some help with paying for it, but its still a grip load of cash (I\'d need to get levels 1-3)..but if it\'s worth the money ill get it

cheapest im seeing is on amazon for 435

way too expensive

i used Michel Thomas Italian language audiobooks years ago and learned more than enough to go to calabria for my friends wedding.
paid about 80$ for an 8 cd set

Does your local library carry it? Then you\'d save some serious dough.

It\'s amazing software...but expensive.

I would use the word "torrent", but then MM would throw a burning bunny carcass in my direction.
