I was watching the bet awards some time ago and this was around the time T.I. was busted for purchasing guns in a walmart parking lot....just about every celeb that spoke on the podium said s**t like...yo, this is for T.I. and s**t like they\'re tryin to bring us down bur we will never be quiet...:rolleyes:...uhm no...how about addressing the fact that T.I. was wrong as hell for tryin to purchase guns when he already had like several in his crib?...sheeit i didn\'t feel sorry for him in the least amount...all that money and his dumbass still can\'t leave the hood alone...
But everybody on the show was basically supportin T.I. and shortly after that lil wayne performed and while he did rip it, most of his lyrics ranged from killing other afri. americans to the drug game to his red bandana that he has hangin outta his back pocket....s**t was just hypocritcal all over the place...then black folk wonder why white folk are always sayin\' s**t and clowin\' on them,...once you gain some type of self-respect, maybe some of that nonsense will stop...
I still have luv for my peeps but there are issues here that really need to be addressed,...and i don\'t care if it is part of the rap culture,...to call women bitches and hoes and to call other afri. american nigga should be condemned across the board...it makes no sense for it to only be ok for "us" to say it, but when white folk say it, the same women and men that don\'t mind bein\' called that are in an uproar over it....that is stupidity on the highest level....

the guys on PTI pretty much nailed it. It was a horrible choice of words in a live mic, and one of the dudes (who happens to be black..if that matters) knows her and says he hasnt seen an ounce of bigotry in her..so i dont think a suspension was that necessary since that\'s what comes with airing live sometimes, but her apology was pretty half assed with the "sorry to who i may have offended" line.
but..its the golf channel so who really gives a shit? lol

And why was the Golf Channel not on some kind of 7 second delay like most all other stations that have "live feeds", I am pretty sure they were, the person on the dump button really should be getting pegged too. Besides if Tiger wasn\'t half or partially black and was a white golfer, this would all be a none issue. I don\'t agree with her being suspended, considering the likes of Imus are still on the radio even if he was suspended, and he is an obvious racist and always has been.

I saw what she said and it was obviously something that was quick and off the cuff. She I\'m sure realized what she said right after she said it and meant nothing of it. Heck, even Tiger came out and defended her. I have this story filed in my who the fuck cares file.

I saw the cover before I clicked the news article and htought it was a joke. It looks like someone made that cover in photoshop in like 5 minutes. Guess not. I think that is off color....no pun intended :)

The editor is not awesome, he\'s an idiot. He got fired over this. I would never trust an editor who didn\'t have the common sense to be a little conservative with the image on the COVER of the magazine. He had to know what kind of attention that was going to attract.

It was still a dumb thing to do...there\'s nothing good behind the image of a noose....during that little fiasco with the jena six, there were still asshole white folk drivin\' around with nooses hangin\' out the back of their pickup trucks...s**t like this needs to be shut down from the jump or everybody will think it\'s "okay" to post s**t like that....it wasn\'t too long ago were some white folk in texas in think it was dragged some black dude from behind a truck on a dirt road until his body was ripped apart....stories like that and countless others that aren\'t reported just goes to show that america still has a long ways to go when it comes to racial equality..

We\'ll always feel different about that...and trust i\'m not one of those people that will be upset or is ready to protest over somethin\' like this,...i think i\'ve already shown that i can roll with alot of light to moderate racial s**t that goes on even in here....yeah they were just describing the story, i guess the part that kinda pissed me off was that it seemed it was being said in a jokingly manner....they could\'ve desribed the story in a more tasteful way....it\'s a golf mag,..i\'m sure they weren\'t bankin\' on that to be their main focus on the magazine...
