I work at a liquor store and meet some big alcoholics. I\'ve never heard of anything like this before. Girl starts drinking at age 12 and drinks like 6 bottles of wine a day. She had liver failure at 14

Adult supervision at it\'s best....f**k her...she was warned of her liver failure and she still continued to drink heavily?....she deserved it....she may have been 14 when the doctor told her of her liver failure, but she was old enough to understand the consequences of continued drinking(her liver wasn\'t even fully developed yet)....and where\'s the parents in all of this?......pathetic.

I didn\'t read the whole thing, but where does a girl that young get six bottles of wine a day?

Must be the next teen sensation, following in the footsteps of such role models as Britney, Lindsay, Paris, and Jamie Lynn...
You\'re not a teen idol until you:
A) Have a DUI
B) Have a leaked sex tape
C) Abuse drugs/alcohol
D)Get pregnant
E) Any combo above or all
Sorry, Miley/Hannah...

Rebellious teen I guess. Pathetic. She deserves it.

that shit is happening everywhere over here, you can find school kids in every town park drinking cheap cider from cans.
their parents just don\'t give a fuck these days, if I\'d have done that, my dad would have knocked the fuck out of me

Same here Cer. My dad would have beaten me with a belt.

Haha you work at a liquor store too??? I\'ve worked at one for over three years now. Gotta love those customers that get a 1.75L every day. Hell we have some guys that buy two 1L of Kamchatka every day.

I love the people that come in multiple times a day.

my brother in law comes in like 5 times or more a day to liquor to buy beers. he\'s really that addicted to beer. And he would buy this cheap bag of cigarettes every 2 or 3 days when out of cigarettes.
he got divorced years ago. Part of it has to do with his drinking habit I believe. His 4 kids lived with their mom.

Titan & Bozzie- do you ever get youngins that try to use fake IDs?
-
I drink more than my fair share of alcohol, but I can\'t for the life of me understand how people can get addicted to it.
I know they do, it\'s a medical fact, I just can\'t understand how a person can NEED to drink just to survive.
I drink for social reasons, and I know I could give up drinking altogether in a heartbeat if I wanted/had to.

We have a beer and wine drive thru connected to the liquor store. Rarely someone will go into the drive thru with someone else\'s ID trying to pull a fast one but I\'ve never seen someone try a completely fake ID. Then again even if it seems iffy I\'m generally not too worried cause were really only liable if we don\'t ID. Undercover people only come in with no ID trying to fool us.
All the guys working there are my age, back when we were all 18-19 everybody within three states would come trying to claim they knew someone but not really now.
Cerberus, I see a bunch of people every day. Imagine drinking a liter of liquor every day. That\'s way more alcohol than anyone drinks socially. At that point their body needs it. They all come in shaking, uncontrollably, kinda similar to Parkinson\'s.

Well that\'s the thing you can drive thru to get beer and wine and they might be connected to liquor stores but you can\'t get your liquor unless you walk in. This isn\'t quite Texas

Yes. We caught two underage kids in a row together using the same ID. They both tried to pass off obviously fake Delaware IDs. We just showed them the door. They looked 16 too which was funny. We also every now and then get someone who use their friends ID. NJ has provisional driver\'s licenses and I\'ve had like "25" year olds still use it. They\'re perfectly valid so maybe they got in trouble as a kid or something. I don\'t know the provisional laws so I usually just wave them through. I check the pictures and everything though.
