"this made BottleRocket a solid choice to develop the revival of Namco Bandai\'s hyper-violent action series, which will arrive on both PS3 and Xbox 360 sometime around mid-2009."
hmm... Splatterhouse remake?

I just recently downloaded the original for Wii. It\'ll take a lot of over-the-top gore and blood fountains for this game to push the envelope and live up to its namesake. I hope the developer isn\'t shy and makes something straightforward and ridiculously gratuitous.

We need fast, running, loud zombies this go around, a la 28 days later

I remember wasting assloads of quarters and time playing the trio in the arcade back in the day...ahh...such care free days. :)

I still have the game for my turbo duo(turbo graphx-16)...:p....i think the game would have to go the god of war route as far as it\'s carnage....i can see this guy picking up zombies and rippin\' them apart in a similar way that Kratos does...i think that would make sense, because of the super enhanced strength you\'re suppose to get from the mask...

small update...i really don\'t like how the enemies of this thing is lookin\'..it\'s kind of hokey,...even tho this game really didn\'t take itself seriously back in tha day, i still remember some of it bein\' in tight spaces to fight in,...i don\'t even see any zombies or hanging bodies that you saw in the first game in the haunted house...and i now think that rick is too big, and they need to tone down his mass some,...and the damage system that rick takes on looks a bit over the top,...but i guess we\'ll have to see how well it\'s implemented....
