I do watch this show and I think don\'t take the show seriously.  I think everybody have their own deep secrets that are too personal to talk about.  And I mean everyone.  So, for many of the questions that were asked, I was thinking?  who doesn\'t do that though?  Sure it does sound shocking, but I think most people does that though...

oh, the question that she answered and turned out false.  I was thinking isn\'t that question too vague?

"Do you think you are a good person."  That\'s just too vague.  and lie detector aren\'t 100% accurate.  At most they are about 90% accurate.

Oh also, questions like that could be a gray answer, not straight black or white answer.  What if she thinks she\'s half good and half bad.  How is she going to answer that?  Does Maybe?  Somewhat? count as an answer beside yes or no?

I really wonder about this show. I know lie detectors are never fully accurate. Plus, they try to heighten drama so the answers can be misrepresented on the show. Something that is true can be false, especially since they don\'t get the money. Every single person I caught here and there on this show failed on a question they are sure was true. Plus, who knows if they tell the contestants to act a certain way and to answer certain questions with a certain answer. In the 50s and 60s, quiz and game shows were mostly fixed to heighten entertainment and drama. I think most shows today are the same way and I don\'t really believe much of this show especially when money is involved in the way they are. Even though this classifies as a game show, I still think it is fixed.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quiz_show_scandal

This from wikipedia is highly suspect:
"Though no contestant has answered all 21 questions truthfully to date, according to Mike Darnell, president of alternative entertainment at FOX, "In the vast majority of contestants, 99%, [they don’t say the machine is wrong]. You get, \'Hmm, I was a little worried when I answered that question.\'"[2] The series requires contestants to sign an agreement that they will accept the conclusions drawn by the polygraph examiner."

Fox basically will get carte blanche for anything. If they wanted to, on one question they can change the answer so the contestant doesn\'t get the money. Also, by saying they have to accept it, they can get away with whatever they come up with, even if they change the answer. I doubt they show the contestants the results of the test. Wonder where all that money goes though. Anyway, I hate this game show.

Meh...from an entertainment standpoint, i think it\'s pretty good...but i have always questioned those lie-detectors, because there\'s always the possibility that someone could be telling the truth and that thing read\'s it wrong....if you\'ve ever watched the Maury show, i think that the lie-detectors are the spokesperson for that show,..:p.....well that and dna tests!...:D

speaking of the Maury\'s show, isn\'t that show is too excessive with the DNA tests for who\'s your father?  Almost about all of the shows on Maury\'s about Who\'s the father of this child?

I was thinking, why don\'t he switch to different topic for each show?  Did he runs out of idea, and don\'t he get tired of the same topic for almost every show?

These days trying to ruin the life of someone, embarrass  or expose him in public is considered a spectacle. Can you imagine how many viewers are probably waiting for that test to become a negative?

It brings...MONEY. They will do ANYTHING for money. Like the creation of such stupid shows

i can understand that, but doing the same topic of "who is the father of this child" for almost every show is boring.  Viewers will get tired of it.  It\'s interesting for the first few shows...then it starting to be the same thing, same thing.

Surprisingly this "who is the father" has been going on for like 5 years now. That is the whole format of his show. He doesn\'t even try anymore. I think he realizes that the demographic of his show are people who are unemployed or house mothers who probably just catch the show once in a while.

its interesting that his show still last to this day and still does for doing mostly the same topic for 5 years.

You must be talking about the one where she said she would go back to her old beau..

Funny how they do the disclaimer at the top of how they weren\'t going to air the show because it was so detrimental to their lives, yet they repeated it.  That thing aired months ago.

And yes.  The show is fucked up.  They destroyed her life and didn\'t give her a dime.

BUT on the other hand, she KNOWS the questions they will ask her on the show because they already asked them of her earlier to get the true readings.  So she knew she could stop.

Also the last question was ridiculous.  IF she feels she is a good person, then so be it.  That\'s not a good lie detector question and to lose that much money off a bogus question is a shame.  Kind of like their marriage.

yes and no, there are people out there that feel like they\'re not good people, but will say yes to save face.  How could she feel she\'s a good person. She\'s a walking slut!
