I haven\'t been to a nfl game in years,..and maybe this is a small problem to some extent, but to just ban it altogether?....i guess you can get pissed if somebody is standing for the whole game....i prefer to watch my boys whoop the steeler\'s ass in the comfort of my own home anyway..;).....thoughts?

You don\'t want to stand while watching a football game?  Don\'t go.  The whole purpose of going to a game is to go crazy rooting for your team and taking in the atmosphere.  This is especially true considering the obscene prices football tickets go for, even on the college level.

Well if you are at a chiefs game most of the time you aren\'t standing:p  but I can\'t say much for the bears either:(

I didn\'t say I agreed with it. Just meant I understood the premise. No standing is a bit strict. But I see what they are trying to do.

Ticket prices are the exact reason many idiots will tell you to sit down. "I paid $200 for these tickets! Get out my way so I can see the game!" :rolleyes:
 
I personally hate people who get on my case when I\'m standing and screaming at an NBA game. GUESS WHUT? It\'s the 4th quarter, and 6 minutes left in the game. Get off your ass and stop texting your boyfriend. If you don\'t want to be here, LEAVE.
 
Also, I wish I could use the same language I use when watching a game in my living room... but the NBA is supposed to be "family entertainment" so I\'m not allowed to use my full range of nicknames for Robert Horry and Bruce Bowen. :)
