Not really great. I mean, I doubt i\'ll make much use out of it. But it\'s still cool and a new "feature" added to PS3.
I hope they\'ll had more stuff to this such as travel information per cities, city maps and such. If they keep working on this, it can become a really usefull tool!

Great service. Cool, with many possibilities to be extended. I\'ll stay tuned.
interested.

downloaded it yesterday and gave it a try for 5 minutes.
haven\'t used it since, I can\'t see what all the fuss is about, I\'ve seen people on other boards rave about it like it\'s the best thing since sliced bread.
it would be better if they actually allowed you to zoom right in and see the weather for each local area.
as it is now, if you live in the uk, unless you\'re in dublin or london, you have no idea what the weather is like, and there is no localised news either.

The one and only thing that I appreciate about this is that it runs folding at home while it\'s on. I mean, I use google earth a lot, but this doesn\'t look anywhere near as helpful as google earth.

does folding at home do anything for you or is it just for that research company/whatever it is?
this new thing doesnt look that cool..ill just like to look at the clouds during a hurricane er something

exactly
if it was more like google earth, where it had weather, news maps AND pictures on a truly local basis, it would be awesome.
right now, the true potential of the application is far from being realised
edit//
another good feature to have, would be 24-48 hour forecasts where you could manually cycle through hourly periods to view the changes in weather patterns so you can watch weather systems develop

Or you can just look out your window.

we don\'t have those windows over here yet that tell you whether or not it\'s going to piss down in 12 hours time
