if you find any good levels post em.  I\'ve been doing mostly just the disc levels.  I\'ve played a few user created ones and a few are pretty good.  I saw one Escape from Alacatraz that was pretty good.

If you\'re going to use Mario or levels inspired by other games, DO NOT USE THEIR GAME TITLES to lure gamers! LBP moderators will delete them without  warning.

Man, ICO is a great one...

There is a cheetah race that is pretty fun, but no big whoop.

The Azure Palace

No way that is done by just a regular dude.  Lot of friggen work.  He has a few others, but haven\'t had a chance to try them.

Here\'s another one.

Fable of souls.  Friggen amazing.

looks awesome, but every video of vehicles in lpb has turned me off. just looks boring to sit there and wait for the ride to end instead of playing the game.

yeah, i agree.  Logan loves those though.  To each his own.  The azure palace is really cool though.  They use the rocket packs to make you feel like you are underwater.  I\'ve tried it twice now and I lost both times.  Actually the first time I didn\'t realize what I was doing.  The second time I lost the key some how.

I\'ve been reading a lot about lots of custom levels getting deleted for no reason. I recognise a few of the ones listed here as being among them.

kind of glad I didn\'t buy the game now.

the issues they seem to have is copyright from nintendo and sega

wouldnt the levels still be in your harddrive and you just have to rename it?

or do they actually delete the level itself

if its the latter then thats a horrible system

I\'m not so sure about that, I\'ve been seeing a lot of anger at a lot of acceptable levels that have no copyright issues whatsoever being moderated without warning or explanation.

a bunch of these levels from this jp guy look awesome

after borrowing gears and not needing to buy it, and im tired of shooters between gears, farcry, and fallout, i havent felt like playing resistance 2 at all..i might end up buying this game sooner than i thought.

Turns out anything flagged gets removed until it can be reviewed. Supposedly Azure Palace and others are back already. A lot speculation that popular levels are getting flagged by jealous or just plain malicious a-holes. I wouldn\'t worry about anything innocent going down forever.

Fabulous live co-op. I find myself grinning like an idiot every time I play so far with company because its such silly solid good fun. If you can stand it being cute as it could possibly be it\'s a must own. A decent ranking system, work out the flagging mess and I see this having near endless replay value.

Gears is a blast but farcry2 and fallout3 are a snoozefest compared to the pace and visual stimulus resistance 2 offers. At least check it out.

all different types of shooters

fallout 3 barely fits in with those shooters, if at all.

and far cry isnt a linear \'go in this area of bad guys and kill everyone, now go in this area and kill everyone\'. It has the same idea but the action is a lot more broken up and has a different focus.

i liked resistance 1, and i know what to expect in resistance 2

my point was i have my fill of shooters between these 3 games..no need for a 4th right this minute

doesnt even sound like you played FC2

My point beyond the level update was to plug LBP and offer that R2 might just grab your attention in a way FC2, fallout, and to a lesser extent Gears, can\'t. Given so far roughly equal time to all four \'shooters\' the first few hours break down like this: R2 had several times more enemies to deal with and variety of scenery than all three of the others combined. It also plays plays quite differently from R1, it certainly has an entirely different feel from the first. Is that what you expected?

yea, just bigger scope. i played the multiplayer demo and it felt like the first one. wathced gameplay videos and it looked like the first one only better.

almost all sequels run into the \'halo 2.5\' syndrome. but if games werent like the first one, then itd just be a different game all together and not keep what made the game what it is.

it kind of sounds like you\'re overexaggerating a little bit. i mean, im glad you like the game but \'entirely different feel\'? only difference in actual gameplay i saw was the health system..other than that its still has the elements of a bunch of enemies, weak to strong, and you have 2 different ammo types per weapon. except now they have enemies that are ginormous

Im not saying i dont like the system. but its also not blowing any games out of the water to me. neither did FC2 or fallout..but they came out first

Can we get back on topic.  I thought this would be a good thread for us to check out good levels we\'ve found, not a long debate about shit that doesn\'t relate.  Shooters and LBP are apples and oranges.

I played one the other day that was like defender.  you essentially go behind a screen and they used the flight pack to move you around.  Since you are behind the screen and all you see is what you are I guess holding which is a little space ship that looks like defender.  it was pretty cool.

I also played a game where you and your opponent are on two pirate ships.  You fire canons at each other and try to blow up the other ship.  Fun.  Pointless, but fun.

i played the defender one a couple days ago too. wish i was clever enough to make stuff like that

I was googling around and came across this site http://lbpreviews.blogspot.com/

the guy curses like every other fucking word in his videos which is annoying but the site has a lot of recommendations. havent really had time to try a bunch of them out but i definitly will when break starts

I just got a PS3 and LBP.... building levels like a mofo. love it! since the baby I haven\'t been playing with 3ds max at all, and this is great, \'cos all the physics modelling is automatic. I made an Aztec ruin-style board that has booby traps all over it, like proximity switches that drop metal rods down a ramp that you have to outrun, and then they crash thru a wall at the end...lotsa fun

LittleBigPlanet gains new Trophies in Metal Gear Solid pack

Posted Dec 18th 2008 5:15PM by Andrew Yoon
Filed under: PlayStation Network, Trophies

The upcoming Metal Gear Solid level pack for LittleBigPlanet will add 11 new Trophies to the game. The Trophy list reveals some exciting details about the upcoming expansion pack. For example, "Rexecutioner" will have you going against a LBP recreation of Metal Gear REX. Looks like Sackpeople will be packin\' some heat in the expansion in the form of a paintball gun. If you buy the level pack, you\'ll be able to include this new paintballing mechanic to your levels. Sounds fun!
