SPOILERS!
What a one sides beating. All the experts and even current champs said this fight would be a mismatch. Oscar would soundly defeat the little man.
Mismatch it was.
"Pacman" destroyed Oscar dela Hoya. It was a round by round shut out. Pac was so fast that he made Oscar look like a plodding zombie.
History has been made.
-
Was Oscar even a favourite? Everyone I talked to bet on Pacman.
-
At the Las Vegas casinos, it was first 4:1 for Oscar a month ago. By fight night, Pac fans threw their money in for Pacquiao and the odds dropped to 2:1 for Oscar. I think the bet was you bet $155 on Oscar to make $100. Or...put $100 on Pac and make $155 if he beat Oscar.
But journalists and many of those who follow the post closely, like myself, picked Oscar to win. Though in my heart, I wanted Pacman to win.

Dela Hoya is washed up. I can\'t honestly believe anyone expected him to win.
-
That\'s what the golden boy deserves....what\'d you expect from a guy that works out in women\'s undergarments?....:gfight:
-
Too fast. Hoya couldn\'t even jab coz Pacman was gone by the time he could react.

Easy for you to say that now.
-
Dang it\'s usually the guy with the longer reach that has the instant advantage. De La Hoya needs to push that guy away and make him work for those hits. He looks tired.

Minus the fact I said that before hand? We simply did not have a thread here.
He\'s over rated and has been for a long time.

Well, I had also seen the fight going the way it did last Saturday as a possibility. But I thought that Hoya would at least get into that phase at the 6th round. Not the fricken opening bell.
3 out of 10 journalists picked Pacquiao to win, in one panel. For the rest of the world and Las Vegas Casinos, the odds were on Hoya. With good reason. But no one could have possibly seen it to be this one sided. I can\'t even watch it again.

The promo on the Begins Blu-Ray wasn\'t the final color pallete for the finished film. I had the exact same reaction when Begins hit Blu-Ray a week before this film came out and I watched that promo constantly.
The final color pallete, especially in the opening six minutes, is darker. It\'s not wrong.

I see. That\'s why Oscar got beat.
