Title: Movies you liked that other people hated
Post by: Viper_Fujax on December 13, 2008, 01:50:23 PM: I watched resident evil: extinction, even though everyone said it was shit, and i was suprised i actually liked it a lot. The first one was good, but extinction overtook it by a long shot to me. the second one was riddled by horrendous acting and too much \'im in an empty area and all of a sudden 50,000 zombies snuck up on me". the only part i liked about the 2nd one was nemesis. only bad acting in the 3rd one was the black chick and the blond-haired guy that ran umbrella..er whatever he did

plus milla was quite pokable in extinction

any on your list?

Post by: Paul2 on December 13, 2008, 03:04:20 PM: I love Dead or Alive the movie. I thought the fighting choreographed was really good and in some areas creative. Who could forgot the part on how the girl get dressed after a shower . She covered in a blanket and having to fight the bad guys. the story was really decent too and overall mindless fun. There are much worst stories out there than this movie.

I just seen Resident Evil: Extinction on DVD recently and I thought the story was decent overall, and the productions were pretty good too for its budget. With some exceptions of the main characters like Milla Jovovich who are good actors/actresses. Some casts were just mediocre in the acting area. There were a couple of unexpected scary moments here and there too on this movie.

i never really gave it a shot and sat down with the intention of watching it all the way through, but the few times i tried i never got close to finishing it

Not exactly the kind of comedy meant for everyone.

I used to LOVE Howard the Duck when I was a kid. I musta watched that 100 times.

I had such a little boy crush on Lea Thomspon.

I also liked Alien Resurrection, didn\'t care what people said, didn\'t care about all the things that were wrong with it... I still liked it. It had an angry crippled guy in a wheelchair with a shotgun... how awesome is that?

Maybe you had to see the movie in the theater, but when the white guy in the store uses the word "Nigger", people were just dead quiet and then it comes full circle at the end and gets a great laugh. Just a great movie, so off the wall that I loved it.

But, one I liked was Saw V. Most people think Saw has gone to hell since the first one, but there\'s actually a running plot line. You can watch all 5 in a row and it\'s kind of like one long movie, which is basically what I did since my girlfriend and I rented the first 4 just before the new one came out. We got everything in the new one while most people were scratching their heads.

Girl I was talking to on the phone said something about, "could you use that word alittle more?". Thats when I brought out the, "FUCK YOU, YOU FUCKING FUCKERS!".

I try not to cuss too much, but at 6:00 I love to use no word more than, "FUCK". It just seems to fit every possible situation that early in the morning.

11:00 AM Conversation:

I sure wouldn\'t mind some cereal!"

6:00 AM Conversation:

I need some fucking cereal, like right fucking now, before I fucking die.
