Post by: clips on December 24, 2008, 07:43:23 PM: Originally i was gonna create a thread stating what games do you guys plan on getting for x-mas, but i\'m assuming all of the hardcore nerds of this joint probably already have the latest and greatest....so just list what you\'re getting or plan on getting...games or otherwise.

I got a few wrestling dvds and my girlfriend\'s brother got us a laptop which was pretty mindblowing.

I saved some cash this year specifically for games, so I\'m going to pick up a few games myself in the next few months.

doubt anyone here will watch the game

i dont know about everywhere else, but the ignorance of hockey around here is kind of annoying. It\'s way the hell more exciting than boring ass basketball where the last 2 minutes are filled with 50 minutes of fouls and free throws. people just seemed too overwhelmed to know the strategies behind the game and dont give it a chance

i even forget to watch most of the games because theyre on channel 293058 at random times. also doesnt help i have noone to root for. if i pick the penguins than im a fag

tix to the new years game were probably one of the hardest and most expensive tickets to get for an event in chicago ever

was kind of figuring itd be that way. when i was down there, just to get a ticket to a cubs game on some random day was near impossible. got them the day before and all that was left was the highest seat in the park on stubhub

is it not illegal in hockey anymore for a player to be in the goalie\'s blue half-circle anymore? i always thought it was just a thing they ignored in nhl 09, but chicago just scored a goal with a player in the blue area before the puck got to the goalie.
