That\'s rough clips. My girlfriend and I each had work but I got us late reservations to a fondue place nearby. So we had a nice date for a few hours and at midnight everyone crowded the bar to count down and toast some champagne. Pretty nice night.
Today she\'s back to work, and I have the dubious holiday honor of having a well deserved day off... without pay? Hmm...

Turns out they postponed the fireworks over the Baltimore harbor due to wind, so we got to check that out tonight. There was a ten count down to 7 p.m. and they shot everything off over the water, heh.

It\'s cool that you got to hang out with your gf Eik....:thumb:..and yeah i heard about how they had to postpone the events in your area, what do you guys have to countdown your state? We have a giant peach down here, which is kinda lame...imo i still feel N.Y. has the best ornament for their countdown....i don\'t feel that bad tho, some states have used a pie for their countdown and i\'ve even seen one state use a tacky looking fish prop for a countdown...:p.....the recession is real ya\'ll!!!...:D

yea im late...HNY
Went down to Bayside and watched the orange drop and drink...went to space to drink..went to goldrush and watch titties and drink...went back home to drink.
It sure is fun to go to sleep at 6 am only to wake up at 1 still drunk..continue drinking till 8..nap....wake up and drink till now and about to goto sleep again.

Clips, I think the NYC ball drop is the way to go. I suppose the harbor thing is our official countdown. They play like the top ten songs of the last year and then shoot fireworks to music at midnight.

When i used to live in jersey i went to the N.Y. ball drop and i gotta say, it\'s an event you really should experience at least once....me and my ex at the time was surrounded by literally thousands of people, and to see all of that confetti basically fill up times square is quite a bizarre sight, just be wary of pick-pocketers, people were looking for opportunities because of the way folks were literally on top of one another....i had a great time tho.

This is already starting out to be a great year for me. And clips, I know what you mean. I basically fit my New Year\'s in like a half hour before midnight, lol. Good times. Hope you all have a great year. Last year kind of blew chunks.

Almost missed it too as my best friend got into a violent brawl with his dumb ass twin brother 30 minutes before midnight. Fortunately we burst through the door of our friend\'s house 5 minutes before midnight. So I guess 2008 was telling us "fuck you!" right before it ended. Maybe 2009 will suck less.
