Title: Should your wife have guy friends?
Post by: clips on January 24, 2009, 05:43:23 AM
Now i\'m pretty confident in my spot,..but i don\'t recommend it...only because i know how i was when i was the supposed "friend"....things started off cool at first, but eventually we both wanted to do the nasty.

I guess it is possible to be plutonic(spell), but i know how guys are...the first time you get into an argument, she ends up calling the "other" guy back for a shoulder to cry on...then one thing leads another and she ends up gettin\' smashed....meh i\'m glad my wife isn\'t interested in anything like that....

And i\'m not a jealous guy either,..it\'s just that this article is talkin\' about the guy friend doin\' practically everything with her....i guess it depends on the relationship itself, but i would choose not to go this route....thoughts?

It\'s called platonic. However, you should be plutonic as plutonium to the other guy. Get to him first, before he gets to your wife and tell him to back the fuck off.

Just know this.

That even if your wife is just friends with him - the guy, given the chance, will always sleep with her. It is always in the back of his mind, no matter what.

Myself, I don\'t care if my fiance has male friends she hangs out with.

the reason why you don\'t care if your "wife" has male friends is because you, yourself also have girlfriends.:D

It\'s cheating when a woman does it.

It\'s pimp when a guy does it.

Truth.

I disagree. No matter what guy, I\'d expect him to fuck my girl, if given the circumstances. It\'s just the way we are wired. It just depends on the girl. A woman knows if she wants to sleep with you or not and has all the control. The guy is just along for the ride.

This is so true. I talked to my girl about this. I already told her if she wants to hang with another dude then bye all means fo be with me. Leave me alone. There is no such thing a guy friends. He only a dude who has not "hit that" yet.

The only way this works is if the guy friend is a friend of both of yours and hangs out with both of you, not just her. Once this guy is alone with her, he\'s probably looking for sex. She could be friends with a gay guy, but even then, he\'d probably end up being all grabby or something.

I prefer when no one has any friends. :)

So what if it\'s a guy that you know is too much of a pussy to make a move, and that you know 100% your wife has zero interest in?

The only thing that matters is your wife has zero interest. Even if the guy is a pussy, if your wife has interest and makes a move, he will do her.

I know - because at the time, we were only with each other.

I know - because they friggin\' look like me.

I know - because even if it turned out by genetics they aren\'t mine, they are mine emotionally. I was the one who has been there since day one and invested everything I had in them.  They\'ll always be my kids.

This guy exists in my life, and I wouldn\'t want my girlfriend alone with him. If he wanted to hang out, we could all go do whatever no problem, but not one on one. I could be convinced to let it happen, though, since she has no interest in him...

Any city dwellers here?  Everyone in my life is so connected it would be damn near impossible for either me or my gf to not have friends of the opposite sex.

I used to have trust issues and insecurities at the beginning of my relationship (most people do since you don\'t know the other person as well yet), but I know I can trust her to have fun and still come home with dat tight puzzy.  If you don\'t trust your mate or if she would be the type to play around then you shouldn\'t be with her in the first place.

Hmmm...i don\'t know,... i think most guys are territorial and that\'s not to say their jealous,....it\'s like animals in some aspect..take the lion for instance... the male will not let another male near his female companion or family. Guys have humongous ego\'s and while even the most secure guy might not mind his gf havin\' male friends...i don\'t think they\'d approve of their gf hangin\' out with the guy and hammimg it up with him on a daily basis.

Always in the back of the guys mind is the said "friend" possibly crushin\' it...that\'s why guys tend to take it alot harder when their gf cheats on them...the thought of somebody else twistin\' out their gf is an image that devastates just about any guy...and since the guy always feels that nobody can bang a chick better than him, he\'ll always wonder if the other guy did a better job than he did...so yeah that cheatin\' thing is real confidence shaker for alot of guys...and that\'s why i think alot of guys choose to avoid this scenario altogether.

I trust her, but I don\'t like a guy who has a thing for my girl and isn\'t able to suppress it enough to be a normal friend who would come around and see me, too.

I don\'t like the idea of him being around her. She might be wanting a friend, but he\'s harboring a schoolboy crush and at 30-ish, that\'s past cute and well into creepy in my opinion.

I guess I\'m saying it\'s good for your s/o to have opposite sex friends, but it\'d be nice if they were decent people and not just waiting in the weeds for an argument so they can run up and be insincerely supportive while trying to urge on a breakup or something, ya know?

Yeah seriously. I\'ve been in a situation like that and after we broke up, I took it really hard (probably because we were best friends for like 5 years before that and hooked up when either of us were single). She started messing with the guy she told me she was crushing. Took me almost a year for me to get over it and move on to a new girl. Things worked out for the better. The girl is a depressed mess with no friends and messages me every now and then saying how she misses me and loves me. I just ignore her. She had her chance. Anyway, clips, I agree. Its more territorial than jealousy. Its natural in male instincts I feel. I would have no problem with any girlfriend or hookups of mine to hang with their guy friends but once I find out when one likes her, I start to get defensive.

That\'s why I only go out with girls who are ugly as shit and no guy would touch them.

I\'ve never been conscious through a single sexual act with any girlfriend of mine.

Meanwhile, I feel secure that no guy will want her.

How long have you and your wife been married clips? If she says the guy is an old friend and all it is just conversation every once in a while I would not worry. If she is talking to this dude every other day then there is a problem. I don\'t believe in male friends because what guy has time to be spending time with another man\'s women if he has his own chick? Thats why I already told my women hang out with male friends and pretty much lose me.

If your woman loves and respects you she will be loyal.

If she doesn\'t, she wont.

Disagree. In the end, you should thank the guy for showing you that your woman is a hoe.

Then again, I\'d fuck my best friends girl!

So why not thank him while you are taking aggression out on him? ;)

Then get rid of both of them and hope you are not living in her place.
