Mad Max visits a new wasteland... Beverly Blvd in Los Angeles.
I was out walking near my home and saw this parked in front of a local movie theater. (They are running a Mad Max triple feature this weekend as you can see.)
I didn\'t take the time to read the sign very carefully, but I recall it said the car makes 600HP. I assume this means the supercharger is functional. (I recall reading it was non-functional on the original car used for filming the Road Warrior) This is one of the best replicas I\'ve seen. It\'s right hand drive, but the decal on the fender is not quite right, I think.

All that horse power on those muscle cars. But how does it handle? :D
And if these Amercan car companies keep going retro, one day they\'re going to end up with an actual horse. (Adam Corolla reference)

yup....i\'d like an even balance of both horsepower and handling....and i think somebody posted a video here simliar to that comparison....i forgot the name of the thread, but there was this station wagon...and i think it was all wheel drive, racing against this mid-late 80\'s camaro....and while i understand that the driver of these cars is a factor, the wagon handled better around track than the camaro...i actually remember the camaro sliding all over the place and losing control.
They raced twice and even in the 2nd race the wagon got the best of the camaro...the camaro just ended up leaving the track...embarrassed that he got his ass waxed by a grocery getter...
