I know that cali has been in financial trouble for a looong time. Waaay before Awnuld took over. But with so many AAA movie stars and celebs payin\' taxes over there i don\'t see how cali could fall into so much debt.....oh yeah greed...there\'s absolutely no reason for cali to be doin\' this.....it\'s mismanagement of funds and taxpayer money on an insane scale.
I remember not too long ago that it was so bad in russia, that they were actually paying some of their people with vodka, instead of whatever currency that they use....i don\'t think it\'ll get that bad in cali, but when you start handin\' out IOU\'s, the situation is pretty critical.

well if the state didnt have to spend like 10 billion dollars a year on illegal immigrants it would be a lot easier to handle
-
Yup, instead of deporting them, they think it is better to lock them up.
-
I dunno anything about it, but Cali is pretty enormous. Even without the immigrants and any mismanagement, they must have enormous costs with the multiple cities and infrastructure and employees. They should probably look at Texas, if Texas is financially stable, and see what they can learn.
-
They also pull in the most money or near the top anyway.
They waste money on so much it is retarded.

Cali has ridiculous energy policies and taxes which have driven so many manufacturing businesses out of there. With the Prez\'s energy plan, the whole country will be in this same predicament.
-
Let Kalifornia die already. Now Barney Fwank wants to use TARP money to bail them out?
-
Yet for years California has been paying more to the Federal government than we receive from it. Time for the red states to give a little back to the economic engine that powers this nation. :)

Aw to hell with that. Legalize and tax marijuana, and we\'ll be fine. :)

Seriously think Marijuana is the answer? oye...
-
It\'s apparently always the answer.
-
It wouldn\'t solve the whole problem, but it would add $1 B in tax revenue.
