Title: meteor shower tonight

Tonight is the peak of the Perseid Meteor shower - for those interested they say the most optimal time to view it is between midnight and 5am and of course to get away from as much light pollution as possible.

went down to the lake - not a light around and saw a few dozen :D very cool

nowhere near here that seems suitable for viewing the show, light pollution is pretty bad here.

plus on top of that, it\'s always pissing down.

I need to try and do that tonight.  It\'s been pretty cloudy lately.
