Gran Turismo 5’s Damage a “First Step”
Quote

While most of us are still getting over the shock of seeing a damaged car in Gran Turismo, many others criticized Polyphony Digital’s work for not showing over-the-top destruction found in other, often more “arcade” racing games. Apparently, Kazunori Yamauchi himself responded to critics in his latest French interview with GamesBlog.fr, but we missed it the first time around without a full English transcript.

His other comments are significant, claiming the Gran Turismo 5 demo shown at GamesCom “marks only the first step of what we want to achieve for damage.” He goes on to ask for feedback, stating that “we’re interested to know how far the players want to go.”

Those who have defended GT5’s previewed damage model have cited the extremely high level of detail found in other areas of the game – which consume development time and technical resources inside the PS3 – as an explanation for the less sensational crashes.  In other words, if you were hoping for “more”, you would be wise to put your own expectations in check.  Gran Turismo 5 is obviously a game which will receive many downloadable updates during its lifetime, and Yamauchi is probably referring to refinement of the damage model over the long term. We’ll just have to see how – and if – the damage model has changed the next time GT5 is shown in action.

This board is surprising chock full of granny non-driving Americans. They are NASCAR fans and don\'t like GT series. In fact, the way America has created its roads so people like the ones here need very little skills to drive in the wide and straight roads in this country. So when they get a game like Gran Turismo and realize it\'s not NASCAR, they move away from it. It is beyond their skill and comprehension.

Most Americans suck at driving. Canadians are little better but not by much.

A few days ago it was announced in 2010 that used 3D glasses to be able to PlayStation 3 games, today we learn that this is even possible in Gran Turismo 5. But this is not the only exciting news about the game what we can report to you this day. The title also includes an option to "Head Tracking". This is a PlayStation Eye required, and the title of the possibility verklapt already somewhat exactly what it means.

The PlayStation Eye, the position and state of your mind determine what can be used for example when you vauit the cockpit of your car looks. Put your head sideways, you look out the window of your car. Go with your head forward, you see less cockpit but more of the cars for you. There is a demo video of the entire published "Head tracking done, but not of Gran Turismo 5, but a test environment.

Gran Turismo 5 Modes Revealed :

Quote

Polyphony Digital\'s Kazunori Yamauchi revealed model details on the highly anticipated Gran Turismo 5 for PlayStation 3. During Sony\'s Tokyo Game Show 2009 press conference, the following modes and features were revealed:

GT Mode: World Map, My Garage, Car Dealer, Tuning Shop, Championship Race, and License Test.
Online: Open Lobby, Text/Voice Chat, Private Room, Online Photo Album, Online Replay Album, and you can export replays to YouTube.
Photo Mode: Photo Drive, Photo Stage.

GT TV: Improved UI, export of videos to PSP, and progressive downloading.
While everyone expects a new Gran Turismo game to have improved graphics and physics (don\'t worry, they\'re there), the connectivity of GT5 is really interesting. I know loads of gamers that will be thrilled to upload their exploits to YouTube or transfer them to their PSPs to show off their driving skills. The new additions are super interesting and really round out the overall offering.

The release date is 31th March for Japan; devs are working hard to improve a LOT over previous GT game experience; here some details :

Quote

>> Is there still a chance for a Christmas release ?
To answer your question, it\'s not delayed. We never officially announced it for 2009. But I understand you\'re dissappointed.

>> How far is the game ?
The game is finished if all you want to do is take a car and drive. But for the actual game experience, we\'re at 65%

>> I tried the demo, the cars don\'t fully deform. Not even when crashing really hard.
We\'re still working on that. We still have a lot of work to do in that department.

>> What about online ? Will there be race events like in Prologue ?
Prologue worked like an open match. In GT5, there will be private zones for your friends.

>> Will there be more series other than NASCAR and GT500* What about F1 ?
I have always wanted as much championships in the game as possible. That\'s why we now have Nascar and WRC. But I want all of them.
It\'s difficult to get all the F1 teams.

>> What about other single seaters ?
Possible.

>> Have you seen Forza 3 ? What do you think of the game ? Have you played it ? Did you take notes or stay focused on GT ?
Our challenge is to improve every GT based on the previous release. But competition is good.

>> Earlier I saw an interesting G-force graphic. Will that be in the final game ?
Do you want it in ?

>> Yes
Then I\'ll leave it in.
* no idea what he\'s talking about

Quote

- game is mostly ready as far as content it seems (ready to race on a basic course today), but 65% of the "experience" only.

- still tweaking the damage model, where they are workign hardest now.

- GT5 has a friends/invitees only area, probably for MP.

- WRC and Nascar in, but F1 difficult to get in there with all teams. He wants as many "championships" in as possible.

- on Forza, he said GT improves with every iteration and he looks at both old GTs and competition and fan\'s sugegstions and desires. He thinks competition is good and other games in the genre are a good thing.

- G force meter is optional and available. Helps balancing the car and setting it up.

About the leak in day/night cycle and other features:

Quote

- the game posesses a a day/night cycle and its finally possible to race in the rain.

- tire usage is in, and it varies based on the quality of the driving and also the temperature of the rubber. They showed off details of tire management in the video and you can examine the tracks to optimize your tire setup and sets.

From your link, what an amazing interview.  Wow, they really work very hard and long hours.  Didn\'t know the whole polyphony staffs stay there overnight working on the game.  it took them about 5 years to make the game.  The same time it took them to make the first Gran Turismo.  They spent from dawn to dusk and sleeping in the office to make each Gran Turismo games.  Truly amazing, and very hard working these people are.  Very dedicated.

It also talks about modeling the game and a room where people are hard at working doing physics to the game like car damages.

Very interesting read indeed.

“Brand New, Real Time” Damage Coming to Gran Turismo 5

Quote

GB: From virtual to real, recently you have won an important competition on the Nurburgring, is it a great memory?

Kazunori Yamauchi: You know it takes around 10 minutes to make a full lap on the Nurburgring circuit. Honestly, after 7 laps and more than 1 hour racing, corner after corner, I was starting to brake and change gears completely by instinct. I felt I was not thinking anymore, so much that I had the feeling I was dreaming. I almost forgot I was actually driving. Frankly, I felt like in a trance state, something I never experienced with a video game. You know this race will remain a strong experience for me, this unique sensation that you and the car are one.

GB: Gran Turismo 5 will not be released in Japan before March 2010. What about Europe?

KZ: Trust me, it should be very close from this date because our schedules didn’t changed. What I can assure you is both versions will be finished at the same time.

GB: Gran Turismo 5 will offer a new kind of damage…

KY: Right now we are adding a brand new real-time deformation engine that will process according to the speed and angle of impact. But doing this in real-time remains truly complex. We could make it an easier way with pre-damaged models but definitely we don’t want to make it that way.

GB: Players have changed since the original Gran Turismo. How does GT adapt to this?
KY: You would notice that in Gran Turismo for PSP, game progression was accelerated. Before this, it took hours and hours to collect all cars and complete all license tests, this is not true anymore. This is a trend we are considering the possibility for GT5.

GB: You seem to be more concerned about your competitors…

KY: To tell you the truth, when I’m interested in other games, it’s really difficult to not look at them with the creator’s eyes. I notice some details and I think to myself: “oh, they must have really hard worked on this point” or “hmm, they must have lacked time for this very aspect”. I can’t prevent myself from putting me in their place.

GB: More than 10 years after Gran Turismo’s debut, what will you record from Polyphony Digital’s evolution?

KY: I will probably surprise you but, since more than 10 years I design Gran Turismos we never told ourselves that we were the best, the numbers one. As far as I search in my memories, I can’t remember a moment when we felt satisfied with what we’ve achieved because we always want to make it better. That being said, maybe that when everything will be over, the day I will not make video games anymore, I will feel this satisfaction… but this is not in the near future.

GB: During the Gamescom, you told us about the possibility of making a RPG. Would it be a Kazunori-style Shenmue?

KY: (laugh) Indeed it could resemble Shenmue, just because it resemble my own tastes. But if I really had to make another game, I would like it to include how characters live and die. To introduce a true life cycle and evolution.

Gran Turismo 5 Packaging Reveals Three Discs ?

Quote

Sometimes, you’ll come across the most pleasant surprises when you least expect them, and this situation is no exception. Today, we get our first look at the Gran Turismo 5 box art and packaging, in the hands of Kazunori Yamauchi himself. Our own sharp-eyed reader, GON, was first to notice the revelation in this new video from Mercedes-Benz and immediately sent it my way. Sure enough, at 0:42, we get to spy on a Polyphony Digital meeting as Yamauchi inspects a thick Blu-Ray box, complete with the obligatory small text, Sony Computer Entertainment stamp, and the new PS3 logo. Although it may not be the ultimate final product, it’s very likely this is exactly what you’ll find on store shelves next year.

The most curious thing, of course, is the fact that the packaging clearly contains three separate Blu-Ray cases -- one black, one red, and one blue. What could they be? While the conspiracy theorists get to work, here’s a list of other interesting tidbits from the clip:
• Gran Turismo uses one single physics calculation model, so they simply enter the parameters for each car, and the handling characteristics play themselves out within the game. As Yamauchi says, “If the original car is made well, it’ll drive well.”
 • We get a closer look at the 3D model of the SLS AMG in Gran Turismo 5, along with a corner from the Nurburgring Nordschleife.
 • Mercedes’ narrarator suggests that Yamauchi is “considering” putting the new SLS AMG on the cover, but Yamauchi’s following comments (along with the box art seen earlier) all but confirm it will be the star of the show. As he explains, it “will probably be the most exciting car in the world when GT5 is released”. He also was sure to mention: “Fans of Gran Turismo 5 really have something to be excited about”.

If you’d like to grab the original, slightly-higher-quality version of this clip, download it here (.mov, 57.6 MB) -- thanks to those who managed to track it down!
Gran Turismo 5’s “Weather System” is “Done”

Quote

In the latest issue of the Official UK PlayStation Magazine, Kazunori Yamauchi made yet another statement about the questionable status of Gran Turismo 5’s weather system:

“Night racing is going to be a part of GT5, but with things like dynamic weather, the choice is about whether it will improve the experience. The functionality is not a problem – we’ve got the weather system done – but if we are not sure about the quality of it, and how it improves the driving experience, we are not going to have it in the game.”

He has expressed concern with dynamic weather affecting the “quality” of game for some time now, remarking that Polyphony Digital is simply “experimenting” with such a feature. By confirming that its implementation is actually complete, he may have greater confidence the weather system will, ultimately, make the cut.

Yamauchi also made it clear that he has no intentions of sending GT5 out the door without all of its content and features:

“Let me be clear on this. There is a massive amount of content in this game, I don’t think there are many teams that put as much into a game as we can. The launch of the game isn’t a start, we are releasing a full game. Everything we want to put into the game is on the disc when it ships. Having said that, we do have a sizeable online team that will look after it once it’s launched.”

As you may or may not be aware, there is an ongoing “debate” about updating games via the Internet. On one hand, it gives developers the opportunity to fix any bugs or problems after the game hits store shelves. On the other hand, they may be more likely to sell a game with known problems or with a lack of content just so they can meet a particular deadline. Fortunately – and perhaps, unsurprisingly – Yamauchi remains focused on quality.

One final comment, however, does cause concern:

“They’re spending less time with a single game and this is reflected in the design of GT Mode.”

Although see GT5’s “GT Mode” surely won’t be as inconsequential as what we saw in GT PSP, this statement still makes those of us who enjoy the enduring challenge of GT games just a little bit uneasy.

GRAN TURISMO 5 DEMO DATED

Posted by WhoIsDo on Dec 5, 2009 02:04 (4 hours ago)
It\'s pretty crazy to think that after all this time, Gran Turismo 5 is finally going to store shelves (or so we hope)!  After a posting on the European Playstation Blog, a demo date has finally been revealed to the public.

On 17th December exclusively via the PlayStation store, we will be launching the GT Academy 2010 Time Trial. The time trial will be the only way into this year’s Academy, and if you’ve got what it takes it could be the start of a life-changing journey.

Last year the GT Academy programme unearthed a real driving talent in the form of Lucas Ordonez from Spain, who after winning the GT Academy went on to drive for the Nissan PlayStation race team and take an astonishing second place in the GT4 Championship – all in his first season!

This time around the Academy is even bigger and better, and competition is bound to be pretty fierce – perhaps best of all though for Gran Turismo fans, it will be the first opportunity to get a hands-on taster as to what Yamauchi-san and his Polyphony team have been carefully crafting and polishing at their Tokyo base.

Qualify in the top twenty within your country and you will be invited to a national final event, where you will pit your wits against the best Gran Turismo drivers in the country. If you make it from there only then will you join the elite 20 that will be taken into the GT Academy 2010.

There you have it, you\'ll finally be able to get your hands on a small portion of Gran Turismo 5.  Be sure to keep checking back for more news concerning Gran Turismo 5 and other Playstation 3 titles.

Gran Turismo 5 Update - Crashing Cars and Trading Paint

Quote

It\'s also worth noting that the damage model will be a little different depending on whether you\'re in a production car or a racing car. We tested out a Subaru Impreza WRX equipped for WRC events and a stock Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. The Subaru showed more pronounced damage than the Mercedes, though the latter was hardly flawless when we were finished taking it on our impromptu demolition derby. The reason for this relates to the concerns of the auto manufacturers in the game. They\'re more open to showing heavy damage on cars that you\'d never see out on the road, while those cars you can go and buy at a dealer are going to be scaled back a bit. It\'s not exactly an ideal concession in terms of consistency, but it\'s hard to say how much of an impact this will have on the overall experience until we see how it works in the context of the full game.

All that being said, Gran Turismo 5 is still a driving game--not a crashing game. So it\'s nice to see that the driving model in GT5 is just as tight as ever. Little details like the way the camera angles downward when you perform a sharp brake from the cockpit view highlighted our experience. The distinction between the light and grippy Subaru and the V8-powered SLS AMG was easily discernible, as well as provided a much different experience.

At this point, Gran Turismo 5 is looking terrific. The usual kinks apparent in an in-development game were nowhere to be seen, but that might not be much of a surprise considering how long the game has been in development. The North American release is currently scheduled for next summer.

I downloaded the demo, and after giving it a try, the cars are a hell of a lot harder to control.

I hope this is because it\'s an official time trial for the gt academy and not a true indication of the final car handling characteristics. I played the first time trial demo ages ago, and the cars on that were a lot more user friendly

I did, but it doesn\'t really make the experience any more positive.

I\'ve also noticed if you push it up to 10, it adds about 1.5 seconds to lap times

I tried it at 10 and it makes it much worse, full gas in the corners and it wont accelarate until you are going straight. I would imagine that you need a steering wheel and pedals to get the best out of this game. I notice that you can\'t adjust some of the driving physics either to make it easier.

I kept the traction control at 7; it\'s realistic and a bit hard at first.  I made 1:52 at my 1th try, a true shit !  but trying and trying again, I learnt better the circuit, following the paths dosing gas during acceleration while maintaining control of the car and following the paths as smooth as possible.  After 30 minutes I made 1:41 and something, and I\'m pretty sure I can do 2-3 seconds less today if I get some time.

ps: how to remove the fucking ghost ?????

I\'ve managed a 1.40.7 in the tuned car, I\'ve gone close to bettering it a few times only to oversteer coming out of the later corners. I know I can probably shave a second off my time if I nail a perfect lap, but I don\'t know how people are managing times close to 1.35. I feel like I\'m driving my bollocks off just getting 1.40\'s

I don\'t have uncharted 2. I have MW2 though if you want to try co op on that

I saw times close to 1.37, and I was amazed.  1.35 ?  maybe they play all the day using the best wheel.

Only glaring thing I see is the lack of shadows on the dashboard... those trees cast long shadows on the road... you would have some flickering shadows on the dashboard there too...  not a big deal but still with the amount of detail they are putting in I would think they could do something like that.

Polyphony Digital is seriously the most inefficient game developer known to man, well maybe second only to George Broussard.

Taking longer than 3 years to develop a game when you already have 4 under your belt is the work of satan herself.  What a waste of time and money.  How can Sony keep funding them to delay & delay?

IMO, they can delay all they want. When the will be out, you know your 60$ will be well worth the investment for years to come. Can\'t say that for many games.

I don\'t know if they want to launch GT5 3D for the next Holiday season, it would be a Crazy HIT to put against Halo Reach(with or without 3D).   I know, it\'s getting annoying when you want and want to play this game, and then it get delayed, but Sony do care about their business, and other great games are going to be released between Jen and April, and many many games in general.   I\'m saying it with a tear on my face, but next fall would be the best time for Sony :) to Launch GT5 with the possibility of 3D.  My opinion.

Good point & that\'s what I\'m hoping for, a game with a looong life (not another GT4 or GT5 Prologue).  It will be 5 years in April since they allegedly began working on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gt5#Development

So if it\'s only slightly better than Forza or simply matches GTR2 as a sim then IMO they could have managed this project much better.  They had 4 previous games to perfect & tweak their system.  Guess I\'m just curious or antsy about what has been taking them so long.

I was getting a strong desire to play this game, but after doing the time trial demo again and spinning out everywhere I lost it

how can it be financially worth it to spend this much time and money on the game. UC2 and KZ2 sold decently, but nothing amazing (arguable disappointing), which is what GT5 would need to make up for all the money spent on developing it. Unless they plan to release stuff that is cheap to make after it\'s released, and sell that for a huge profit then maybe theyll make up for it. But I dont think theyre going to sell enough copies of the actual game.

Sony Rep: GT5 Planned for October 2010

Quote
According to an Italian gaming site, a Sony representative at last week’s Game Developers Conference informed them the company was looking to release Gran Turismo 5 in October of this year. While GT5 received little attention at the show, Sony’s marketing vice president, Peter Dille, re-affirmed the game would release this year. Of course, October also fits nicely within the “fall” release window mentioned by European Sony executive James Armstrong last month.

This gives Sony plenty of time to establish themselves in the 3D television market over the summer, providing the platform to introduce GT5 as the technology’s “killer app” at the start of the popular holiday buying season. While we must be wary of this somewhat anonymous source of information, it lines up with everything else we’ve been hearing as of late. Time will, as always, tell.

Shrug. really, Polyphony Digital is a 1st party game developer. Everything they create, every innovation, every new technique is probably documented and available to every other developer. I don\'t think you can compare on a compagny that as a budget for a game and need to sell X amount of copy to become profitable.

They will also, like every other GT game, sell millions of copies and probably be a "system seller". This will be again, another profitable adventure for Sony.

Finally, if there was as many GT games as there are COD game release, people would be bored. It\'s not like you can add hundreds of new feature in a racing game every year.
Title: GT5 Official Thread.
Post by: videoholic on April 07, 2010, 07:02:22 PM
I get the whole development thing because I guess they can sell the innovations they are doing.

But if it\'s taken them 5 years to develop this game, you can\'t tell me they are going to sell 5 times more copies of this game as a COD type game.

I can drive my car fast around a corner in real life for free...  I can\'t shoot someone...  I think the game looks beautiful, but I doubt if I get it unless I\'ve gone a long time from buying anything new.  I\'m looking more forwar to Red Dead Redemption.....

Gran Turismo 5 3D Support Confirmed by Sony

Quote

You can put any doubts you had about Gran Turismo 5’s 3D support to rest. Taku Imasaki, a U.S. based producer for the game, confirmed that it will feature this new technology.

This is the first time we’re implementing the 3D feature in Gran Turismo, Gran Turismo 5 will be available later this year, but it will have these 3D features.

He goes on to describe how 3D improves the experience, but also mentions that it was a “really tough job for a our programmers”. While a MotorTrend editor got word at CES 2010 that a “3D version” of the game was coming, this is the first time 3D support has been explicitly confirmed by someone from within Sony. Check out the source of the quote in the full interview with GamerLive.tv below.

90% complete.....

i\'d like a timeline of the production of this game, but I doubt i\'d have the patience to read it all.

how can it be 90% complete now, when not 6 months ago, PD said it was 100% complete and ready for release whenever they wanted?

it\'s supposed to come out in about 4 years ago.

I am past caring about this game personally, too many broken promises regarding when it is supposed to release.

I have stopped being surprised with every breaking news story about it being postponed. I still think it will be put back again from its current release date.

and I am utterly bored fucking shitless of hearing about the nurburgring, it\'s like it\'s the only track in the game.

Gran Turismo 5 pitstopped at 90% because of 3D and PS Move support.

I hope this E3 will bring some solid info, it\'s getting annoying.

it got annoying a long time ago. I am past caring about the hype surrounding this game. it wouldn\'t be so bad if they actually released some info/videos about different tracks and other aspects of the game, but every video you see on youtube is nurburgring.

someone posts yet another nurb vid on youtube with a few minor tweaks or a different car, everyone ends up having a clit fit over it. they go way overboard.

Yep, agreed;   at this point they must show the game running in 3D, the full physics engine/damage, the weather engine and new tracks at this E3.  I\'m sure this will be an over the top racing/sim, but fuck it\'s taking so much time, better for them the game is amazing and full of contents.

see I wouldn\'t mind that, at least show us real time damage modelling, or the weather in effect. what happened to the dynamic weather system that everyone was harping on about? what happened about the dynamic day/night lighting cycle?

all these things have been reported to be in GTA5, and still we have not had any example given to us.

PD are continually shitting all over us with the vague behaviour, and it amazes me to see fanboys wet their pants over and over at each "new" video that is posted.

Gran Turismo 5 New Info and Hands-On

Quote

Earlier today we met with Polyphony Digital\'s Kazunori Yamauchi and were treated to an almost hour-long presentation that showed off a number of previously unannounced features. Gran Turismo 5 still isn\'t finished, but its November 2 release date now appears to be set in stone, so the team at Polyphony has only a few more months to keep cramming new stuff onto the apparently almost-full Blu-ray disc. The game will purportedly be shown in its entirety at August\'s GamesCom event in Germany, but Yamauchi still had plenty of interesting things to talk about here at E3.

The first revelation in today\'s Gran Turismo 5 presentation was that, of the 1,000-plus cars featured in the game, only 200 or so will be what Yamauchi described as "premium" cars. Unlike the 800-plus "standard" cars, these will feature meticulously detailed interiors, and after collisions, their panels will be modeled in such a way that they can come apart and fully deform. The standard cars still look superb, but the level of detail just isn\'t the same. In fact, most of the standard cars have been taken from previous GT games and optimized for the PS3\'s graphics shader. For the record, even though standard cars can\'t be damaged in the same ways that premium models can, they\'ll still be susceptible to physics-based damage, dents, dirt, and scratches.

At one point during the presentation, while showing off close-ups of engines, wheels, and grilles that compared real photos to GT5 screenshots (almost impossible to distinguish between the two), Yamauchi conceded that his team has "actually gone too far in modeling some of this detail" and even went so far as to suggest that it might be "more suited to the next generation of PlayStation." The most impressive of these shots--even more impressive than the Audi wheels and ceramic brakes, or the Ferrari engine underneath a glass hood--was undoubtedly the one that showed the interior of a racecar, possibly a Nascar. The interior was absolutely packed with minute details, including a carbon fiber panel of switches and buttons, safety wires, and, of course, the driver\'s harness.

Speaking of Nascar, nine different models of Nascar have been confirmed for inclusion in Gran Turismo 5, and Yamauchi is hopeful that additional models will be added either prior to or after the game\'s release. All of the Nascar rules will be in full effect, and we got to see some great-looking screenshots of pit crews working on cars. At the request of Nascar, you\'ll be able to use their cars on tracks other than those that they\'re normally raced on, and according to Yamauchi, they\'re extremely quick even on circuits like the Nurburgring.

Germany\'s Nurburgring is one of six previously unconfirmed tracks for GT5 being shown at this year\'s E3. The other five are Circuit de la Sarthe, Rome, Madrid, Tuscany, and the test track from BBC\'s Top Gear TV show. All of them are, predictably, incredibly detailed, and Yamauchi revealed that the city circuits of Madrid and Rome (the latter of which incorporates the incredible-looking Colosseum) each took two years to finish. The Tuscany track, on the other hand, will see you racing through a wide-open environment composed largely of fields. The most impressive track, though, was the Nurburgring, not only because it\'s so huge, but also because of the ridiculous amount of work that has gone into re-creating it. For example, when racing in a 24-hour event at the track (which you will have the option to do in real time), you\'ll not only get to see the day-night transition, but because it\'s such a long event, you\'ll notice that many of the spectators have tents or camper vans that aren\'t there during normal races. Polyphony Digital has photographed every inch of the famously graffiti-daubed track in order to make sure that it\'s as accurate and as up to date as possible in the game. Some of the offensive stuff has been removed, but if you\'ve written something family-friendly on the track in the past year or two, there\'s a good chance it has made it into the game. And hey, you can even take a photo of it as proof.

Like Gran Turismo 4 before it, Gran Turismo 5 will include a fully featured photo mode. In fact, it will feature two. Race Photo mode will let you pause races and replays in order to get action shots of cars as they hop over curbs, kick up dust and debris, and collide with one another, for example. Photo Travel mode, on the other hand, lets you manually position your cars in beautiful locales from all over the world and take the kinds of photos that you might see in glossy car magazines and such. Three Photo Travel locations were shown for the first time at E3, including Kyoto Gion in Japan, the Abbey of Saint Galgano in Italy, and Red Bull\'s Hangar-7 complex in Austria. Even if you\'re not familiar with these locations in real life, it\'s hard not to be impressed by how amazing they look in this mode, especially while you\'re walking around them trying to find the perfect spots for your shots. As in the previous game, you\'ll have loads of professional camera settings to play around with, but if you find that stuff a little daunting, you\'ll also have the option to more or less point and click as if you\'re using an automatic camera. Incidentally, it will be possible to take photos from inside car cockpits, though it\'s not clear whether this feature will be available in standard as well as premium models. Additional Travel Photo locations will be revealed in the coming weeks and months, and it sounds like even more might be released as downloadable content in the future...

now that\'s more like it, some genuinely new info. a refreshing change from the usual videos posted that offer nothing new.

good to see the day/night cycle demonstrated, I hope it is in effect right across the board on all circuits, and not just on a select few endurance races. it would actually be a good thing if you could create your own custom championships offline and online, and set the time of day yourself. this is what I am hoping for.

good to see tracks that are not nurburgring or tokyo R246.

I was hoping for a demonstration on the rumoured dynamic weather aspects as well, hopefully that will be coming over the coming weeks.

In Aug we should see the dynamic weather/ damage engine and more.

I was expecting more from this E3, but in the end E3 is getting every year worst and worst, since the beautiful show it was back to PSX, Sega Saturn and Nintendo64 time, where tons of beautiful games and real news were shown and released.

I thought E3 has been great the last 2 years. and that says a lot since E3 was a mess and looked beyond repair 3 years ago

They do need to stop announcing big stuff weeks before E3. It\'s cool to see new gameplay, but the big announcements make all the fun.

I hope those liveries aren\'t the final product, some of them look shit, too much pixellation going on. it looks like they have just upscaled the textures rather than design them at a higher resolution

I know that the premium cars look fantastic, but what about the others ?
And with all this time they should have made almost every car looking almost like the premium, not only improving over the previous models from previous GT games.  I\'m curious to see the final game, coming out Nov the 2nd in America, hopefully.

Kazunori Yamauchi, president of Polyphony Digital, has said that the upcoming Gran Turismo 5 will feature a ‘complete online system’ for punters to sink their teeth in to – the first in the series’ history to do so.

The key player here that differentiates the game’s online component from that of its predecessors is of course the Lounge Mode, which offers voice and text chat for up to a whopping 32 players and also lets you watch other gamers race in real-time.

“We\'re finally going to have a complete online system," Yamauchi-san told the folks at OPM.

"What\'s really unique about the online GT5 is \'My Lounge\'. You can gather here, you can race together here, and you can actually watch other people race from this room."

Sounds like a winner to us. Gran Turismo 5 is due out in North America on November 2.

Gran Turismo 5 has realistic damage and effects system, Full detailed breakdown

Quote

Gran Turismo 5 is pushing the envelope forward for racing titles, but they are going even further with the damage system. Not happy with just physical damage, Gran Turismo 5\'s cars will have to deal with damage in three different realistic fashions and these changes will greatly alter the way you go about racing in the gaming. However, only certain car models will get the full effects of a crash and the repercussions.

Detailed on the official Gran Turismo site:

Physics is damage. Damage to affect the physical simulation and alignment deviation. The damage may affect the operation, which stopped running straight, and is not stable in the corner to express a variety of symptoms depending on the amount of damage. On all models.

Scratch dent in the dirt and visually recognizable damage or scratches and dirt adhere to the body, then get depressed sometimes. On all models.

Deformation displacement of the panel body get depressed sometimes, but shifted to form a body panel, and other damage that warped. Only affect the premium car.

Basically, any damage done to the alignment of a vehicle will force the car to handle poorly and you\'ll have to battle the vehicle to stay on a straight path. Dents and scratches can become more severe over time and could lead to other vehicular problems, while only premium cars will have full blown damage effects like dented frames and visible body damage.

A lot of going into this game and it looks like it\'ll deliver one hell of a ride.

GT5 Karting Mentioned in French PlayStation Magazine

Quote

Scans of the French PlayStation Official Magazine’s feature on GT5 reveal the magazine is weighing in on two of the game’s most exciting unannounced features. Most confidently, they’ve listed karting as a major category in the game and even included a small note on the track editor. Of course, the text is in French, but you can see all the scans for yourself right here.

As you may recall, these are two of the most exciting unexpected features which were confirmed last month by Sony Worldwide Studios president and Polyphony Digital executive Shuhei Yoshida. Mr. Yoshida’s interview is almost certainly the source of the magazine’s information, but it’s interesting that they have chosen to place their editorial weight and authority behind his comments.

That\'s Great :

Gran Turismo 5 Real-time Damage is Phenomenal

It’s not scripted, that’s right its real time, Asane from Gametrailers and GTplanet took a few pics at a Best Buy store, which looks like a latest build of Gran Turismo 5.

You won’t see the same damage each time you hit the car, thats the beauty of real time damage.

More Screenshots, Videos of GT5’s New Damage Modeling

Quote

The new Gran Turismo 5 damage system first spotted by GTPlanet users in the Best Buy demo continues to make waves throughout our community, as more pictures (and now videos) keep coming in. Here’s the latest batch of higher-quality photos from Asane and tyv2448, along with a YouTube clip courtesy of StedySniper (thanks to Volcao for the tip!). Asane also provided me with a few more details on his observations so far:

From playing the demo I noticed the only car I could really kill was the Ferrari 458 and to an extent the NASCAR car and the AMG. The other cars in demo were impossible to really beat up only having dents and scratches. I think it’s either damage is only turned on in some cars or PD has made some deals with a few manufacturers to have that kind of crazy damage. For example, the 458 is murdered in these screenshots, but the Ferrari Enzo was very hard to kill.

Here’s a quick overview of what’s been discussed in the TGS 2010 GT5 breakout session:

Quote
• Laguna Seca has been completely rebuilt and will return for GT5. Trial Mountain has also been confirmed.
 • “Gran Turismo Anywhere” will allow you to manage B-Spec races, right from your computer. You’ll be able to hold B-Spec races with your friends from anywhere in what are called “Remote Races”.
 • GT5 will feature a series of special events such as the Karting Experience, the AMG driving school, The Stig Challenge, Jeff Gordon NASCAR School, Sebastien Loeb Rally Challenge, and Gran Turismo Rally.
 • Point-to-point rally stages will be automatically and randomly generated – you’ll have to depend on your co-driver to give you the best instructions about the road ahead.
 • Rally mode can be played either on or offline.
 • Weather changes include temperature differences, air pressure changes, and humidity, affecting the surface conditions of the track dynamically.

Weather conditions are randomized. Forecasts for your race will be available but may not be entirely accurate, just like the real world.

 • Polyphony Digital has helped Red Bull Racing’s Adrian Newey design the X1 Concept – an “ultimate” racing car, free of any technical regulations.
 • Polyphony Digital has worked to improve engine sounds.
 • Yamauchi admits that, in certain situations – such as standing race starts in the rain with 15 other cars on the screen kicking up spray in front of you – the game may not be able to hold 60FPS. Otherwise, it will strive to hold 60FPS as often as possible.
 • The Volkswagen Kubelwagen, which has a drive system like the first beetle, and the amphibious Volkswagen Schwimmwagen will be in the game.
 • Many things didn’t make the cut in Gran Turismo 5, and work on Gran Turismo 6 has already begun.
This post will continue to be updated as more information is released.

GT5 will be huge, HUGE, and DLCs will be released; no need for another GT on PS3, it would have no sense at all.
GT6 will be on PS4.

I can\'t wait anymore :D

Who\'s getting it ? Apart from me and clips ?

Would actually rather play an arcade racer like Burnout or Split/Second

I\'ll buy it with a driving wheel, day one.

My excitement as downed also since GT3 (bought GT4 and complete at 24% only). Too many repetition. But, it\'s still a good game to pop-in from time to time for a few race.

Hopefully the new tracks and all the new stuff will drive me to play more

well, I never saw THAT coming!

actually, I did. me and a friend were talking about it in the pub last week and the odds on it being delayed again. I said I doubt it, even though at the back of my mind I knew the possibility would present itself.

this has got to be a record for most delays to a game release in gaming history.

I bet GT7 gets released before GT5 does. I was past caring about this game months ago, this latest delay is just another episode in the failgasm saga of PD.

We can confirm that Gran Turismo 5 will not be available this November 2nd, but the game’s release will be coming this holiday season.

We sincerely apologize to GT fans for the delay, however, creator Kazunori Yamauchi and the team at Polyphony Digital want to make certain they are creating the perfect racing experience, and we are confident that this ambitious game will exceed expectations when it launches.

I can\'t say that I have any real confidence to stick my neck out and go for a 2010 release, PD have hardly been reliable to date.

they have continually given subtle hints as to the release date for some time only for it to come and pass with nothing, then when they finally do give a date, it\'s delayed. you just can\'t trust them to stick by their announcements anymore.

for all it\'s worth, "holiday season" might as well be the second quarter of 2011.

so stupid...

there\'s no such thing as a perfect product, and their expectations of what is going to be in the final product is insane.

I wasnt too big on buying this game since I dont like sim racers, but now I almost want to not buy it out of spite. If the game\'s not ready, stop making a deadline that you know is going to be pushed back
Title: GT5 Official Thread.
Post by: clips on October 13, 2010, 08:23:41 PM
I think the game is being overly ambitious...there\'s sooo much pressure for this thing to be the perfect racer, that by the time it\'s released, newly released arcade racers are going to look as good as this thing...i still plan to get this thing, but it probably won\'t be a day one purchase.

^^^Yeah....i\'m still gonna get this tho....they are adding an incredible amount of content in this one....the only aspect of the game that i can say is the true reason they are delaying this game for me is the real-time damage effects....i wasn\'t really impressed with it and the damage of the cars (at least the front damage) looked like crumpled clay.....

I honestly didn\'t care if the cars didn\'t sport any damage.....as realistic as the game looks, you\'re not going to get the AI to perform in a truly realistic way that a human driver would perform....the AI will always be programmed to specific rail routes....i\'ve never seen any of the AI cars truly try to overtake each other...they always stay behind each other for the most part.

Anyway....even with all of the advanced hardware in this gen...it\'s still pretty complicated to get the AI to perform as a human driver....they\'re still doing an incredible job here tho....but whenever they finish this game, just expect the NEXT gran-turismo game to be released in 2025!!....:D

It seems fitting that a game that\'s been in development for 5+ years just randomly comes out 2 weeks from when they announce it\'s actually ready. I\'m sure the game itself will be great, but everything besides that has been a cluster****

I\'m glad it comes out before black friday though. gives me a chance to see if I want GT5 or NFS more

im pretty sold on getting this before i get hot pursuit, unless i can get HP on a good discount. There\'s just way too much more value to GT5.

Been playing forza to see if i could get in the frame of mind to enjoy a sim racer and i\'ve been getting used to it. Still have a tendency of wanting to be in first place from the get-go though, lol.

Part of it is just nostalgia and getting the same feeling i had playing GT3

either get hot pursuit for 35 bucks and wait for christmas money to get GT (cheapest route)....or get GT (which i want more) and get HP later or never

love being indecisive...

For me it\'s easier, I love sim more, and with the value of GT5, quality, contents, etc, I\'ll go with GT first, and after a couple of weeks I\'ll buy Need For Speed.

Today I\'ll check if my copy of GT5 is available in the odd videogame shop here where I work...really odd shop if you ask me, here it\'s another planet.

it\'s another case of hype ruining people\'s expectations. People are bitching about the littlest things its hilarious. I saw one video and the guy was bitching about a car door handle...

Some things warrant being a little disappointed, but those disappointments get magnified by how long it took for the game to get released.

Exactly !   I\'m playing GT5 and I\'m loving it; sure it\'s too early for full impressions, but it\'s getting ridiculous when people complain about standard cars not being as good as premium, or the remake of the original tracks not as good as the best ones.  We have 230 premium cars which look fantastic, the best of the best, and we\'ll have more with DLCs, extra damage, tracks, features, etc.  Why to complain having 800 extra standard cars ?  everybody talking about the 5 years development cycle, when Forza2 + Forza3 took the same time and together don\'t touch the amount of contents of GT5 alone.

People complaining about shaders, comparing to Forza3, but they forget that GT5 is running at higher res, 2 times the number of cars on screen and way way better lighting and better car models with the premium and a far more realistic look ;)

Said that, let\'s enjoy the sim.

I cant decide whether to get this or not. I kind of want it, but im not really dieing to get it (which is usually what it takes for me to get a game and not have buyers remorse)

I finished Assassins Creed\'s single player so i just have gettin 100% sync and ranking up in multiplayer left to do..and a little NFS so i dont have that much to play right now.

Cant decide whether to just get this or wait for the rush of 2011 games to start

The Ultimate Gran Turismo Wheel

Quote

Earlier today, Thrustmaster released a press release detailing all the specs on the upcoming wheel, a slew of pictures, and dropped the price bomb on us. Come January 5 in North America and Europe and January 25 in Japan, the Thrustmaster T500 RS will set you back $599.99. Literally the cost of 2 Playstation 3\'s or 10 copies of GT5 and that\'s without the separately sold gearshift, of which no mention was made.

Start saving your pennies now. Here\'s some pictures to get you revved up:

the pick up trucks you can only buy from used dealerships I think, there are none anywhere else.

after each event you enter, go back and check the used dealership, there should be one that is listed every now and then.

It\'s pretty good. I would recommend doing it alongside the A spec as some of the cars you win in B spec are pretty vital to some of the A spec races.

It takes some persevering at first though as your driver will be shit at first

thanks to GT5, my PS3 is now fucked and I can\'t play anything.

the game would freeze on the race loading screen leading me with no option but to brute force a reboot by unplugging from the mains power supply.

it did it again last night, and when I "rebooted", I got an error message telling me that my HDD was corrupted, and that it needed to be restored.

I let it do what needed to be done, then when it rebooted itself, I got the same message again.

now I have a PS3 that is totally useless, and what is even more annoying, is that unless I can bypass the restore screen, I am going to lose ALL my game saves, including GT5.

any suggestions how to get past this, or am I royally fucked?

I suggest the 3 possible solutions

1)Make a back up on an external HDD. If you have a SATA sitting unused, take out your original HDD, put the other one inside your PS3, restore your back up on that. Check if it will work and if everything you had on the other one will be restored in it. That way you will try a solution without fearing that you will lose your original data from the original HDD.

2)Another possible solution is to save your GT5 data on the USB just in case it gets deleted by accident while you are going to do the following: delete the GT5 installation, install it again, and see if it will work ok. Copy your game data back on the console in case your GT5 progress is missing.

3)I am not sure about it but is there the option to reinstall GT5 from the game menu? if yes do that and restore the game after that from the game menu (keep your progress saved on a USB just in case before you do that)

The first option I believe is the safest

Its weird that your PS3 froze on the loading screen

I wish you good luck

there was no way of making a back up, even if I had an external HDD lying around. I couldn\'t get past the loop that kept telling me it needed to be restored.

someone told me to use the recovery feature that was introduced in 2.50, but that did nothing to help either. the only thing I could do as a last resort and a final attempt at at least getting my PS3 working again, was to reset it back to its default configuration, which wiped everything.

I lost all my GT5 data, my RDR data (online and offline) and a shit load of other stuff that I had been stocking up.

pissed off to say the least, totally my own fault for not backing my shit up.

not going to happen again though, once bitten, twice shy. I\'ll be backing my saves up at least once a week now, depending on how much progress I make.

sucks big time about your HDD Cerb. Havent heard other people running into that, except I did hear with all the long Spec B races and the ones you have to do, the game\'s been making people keep their ps3\'s on for long periods of time which could be a problem

but i might get this tomorrow while its on sale at target.

Does GT5 have the rewind feature that\'s being put into racing games? (dirt, grid and forza have it). I know its considered lame to use it but I\'m more about having fun than complete realism so I dont really want to spend a bunch of time on a race just to fuck up at the end. Guess its not too big of a deal if it\'s not in the game but i\'d prefer it

I\'ve just about gotten over my loss, I\'m making good progress on GT5, but I don\'t think I\'ll ever get back to where I was on RDR. I;d prestiged all the way and had unlocked most of the gold weapons online, not sure I can be bothered doing all that again.

as for a rewind feature, I haven\'t seen anything like that, but I have to admit, if you want to do do most of the longer championships in a spec, and all the ones on b spec which are twice the length of the a spec equivalent , you are forced to keep your system on for extended periods, which is just taking the piss. there is no option whatsoever to save your progress during championship events, and considering that some of the higher ones can have approaching 10 events with 10-20 laps each, it\'s a ridiculous amount of progress without being able to save.

I think I\'d be livid if I did one of the long championship events only to suffer a system freeze, or even a power cut right in the last few laps of the last race.

as good as the game is, the more I play it, the more I am discovering corners that were cut, and for a game that was in development as long as GT5 was, that is pure unacceptable.

I only played 3 races but I can tell I\'m glad i bought the game. Even with my shitty infinity G20 \'90 im digging the races.

curious on what your guys\' opinions are on buying shit as a beginner though.

Do you recommend me buying another car asap, keep saving up till I can get a much better car from my current one, or keep upgrading my one car?

I tend to hoard and save as much money as possible, then buying a much better car..But it seems like I need to upgrade my car first then buy a new car

edit: Ah..i see I won a car. Guess another option is to upgrade my current car and just take the prize cars for a while

Also...

I just finished/won the first 3 races (the whole \'tournament\' i mean..not just 3 lone races) on the beginner level, but now all of the next races I dont have a car to participate in any of them. Do I need to buy a car for those races? or hope my a-spec guy wins some cars?

Just a stickler with spending points so I know I\'m going to buy stuff and get screwed over. Already happened when I upgraded my current car a bit just to see I needed to buy a car for one of those events but didnt have enough credits

don\'t get me worng, it\'s a great game, it\'s just full of cut corners.

yeah, past GT games did have a save feature for championship events, don\'t know why this one doesn\'t. it\'s just ridiculous.

I was hoping they would have included a save feature for endurance races as well, I mean come on, who has the time to sit in front of their PS3 for hours and hours on end????

you will be able to use some of the cars you win from other races to enter other categories.

also, do the license tests, you will unlock cars from doing those, you will get a car for getting all bronze, as well as for all silver and all gold assuming you get them.

then do a few b spec, you will get cars for that too, though that can be a bit boring.

Post by: Viper_Fujax on January 20, 2011, 03:35:14 PM
how many b spec drivers do you guys have? I\'ve heard people having 4ish drivers up in the 30 ranks...that would take sooo damn long of just doing nothing but watching.

And it\'s not like you can just go on autopilot and let a bunch of b-spec races go unattended since you always need to click to start a race, go to the next one, etc

I\'m really not getting into this b-spec aspect of this

just the one I need to do the lower tier. dunno how many you need for the higher ones, but I can\'t be arsed getting more than 1 up to an adequate level.

One more question, lol (i admit, i\'m retarded with this game outside of the driving..i dont get the tuning, how to get better cars, whether to buy/win/buy a used car, etc, etc. Even the driving i\'d probably get killed online)

Plus I want to figure this stuff out during the beginning races before I move on to the cooler, more expensive cars. I\'m only on beginner still since I\'ve been doing all the licences and special races too

Anyway, On beginner races like the Vitz, Japanese Classic races, and European classic (i think its \'european\'), I have a car for each of those races but theyre\' extremely shitty compared to the other racers so I\'m getting killed. Do I need to upgrade my current cars (kind of sucks to spend money on a crap car) or wait till I get a better car/buy a different car to compete in those races?
Title: GT5 Official Thread.
Post by: Cerberus on January 23, 2011, 01:42:25 PM
just buy upgrade parts from the tuning shop. try to get away with spending as little as possible, just enough to get the car to be competative, then you should have enough in hand to win the events you want to enter.

even the shittiest cars can be tuned to the point where they can become an asset

Well, for any race/championship, check the list of participants, so you get an idea of type of cars and horse power they have. Take a similar car with similar performance and you will have fun(I go with less powerful cars mostly to have a more challenging race, otherwise I win too easy).  If you feel your car is a shame compared to the group, just upgrade a bit, it\'s not expensive.

I\'m having a lot of fun with GT5, now busy with the Expert Nascar Special events and Extreme races.

I have 6 b-spec drivers all at level 27-28. You need to use any 4 of them for the endurance races. They do level up pretty quickly when you add new drivers so eventually they will be a similar level.

I just pick any 4 of them and set it going then go to bed or whatever. They have not lost an endurance race yet.

yea i\'m having a bit of a problem of balance with the game. Either my car sucks so much compared to the others that I dont stand a chance, or its equally as good/better than the others that I end up dominating. Part of it is the big jumps from upgrades

I hate being frustrated so I\'ve been opting for the \'dominating\' by upgrading cars more than i probably could\'ve

Yep, this is one thing that should be changed/improved in future GT games.  Devs should put a limit on the power in most races, so you don\'t have the "problem" to master races and win with your hands down.  Why to lose time in finding the right upgrades to have fun ?  Anyway, if the best of your opponents has a car with 350 HP, I generally go with a car with 300 HP, sporting tires and suspensions to have fun in tracks which are not too fast.
If your car is not competitive enough, just add FEW upgrades and try again.

In the way it is now, we have more freedom, flexibility and you can do whatever you want; in the other way, with power limit, improving the opponents driving skills, etc, it could be more realistic; just a thought.

ps: Some of the expert Special events are very challenging, didn\'t get all Gold yet.

Gran Turismo 5: New update coming this month

Quote

For those waiting for a new Gran Turismo 5 update, Polyphony Digital’s Kaz Yamauchi has provided a timeslot as to when you can expect one to hit. Gran Turismo 5 released exclusively on the PlayStation 3 in mid-November and has seen a number of patches since launch to fix and tune minor game elements. Another update will be coming to the game very soon according to Yamauchi.

When asked on Twitter when the next update would come, Kaz replied with: “Will be updated in mid-February.” February is an incredibly short month, so the update won’t be too long off. No details as to what the update will contain or fix, but after being on the market for several months now, what do you hope is tuned in this upcoming update?

I bet it\'s just generic fixes, possibly adding official support for more steering wheel models.

nothing to get players salivating over.

I\'d actually like to see a save feature during championships and endurance races, the game is crying out for that.

also, the ability to save car setups. me and a friend were talking about that last week, it\'s a joke that such a feature is not already in there.

I haven\'t played online yet, having said that, I\'ve not been playing it at all lately. my PS3 has been relatively unused since I got my new pc.

I\'ve not really been that bothered by the online side of the game because from what I can gather, it\'s full of idiots who just want to ram into you to win at any cost.

I\'d consider playing it with people on my friends list, I just don\'t care for playing online against random shitbags who just want to drive you off the road.

I hit another wall with this game. I have 3 million saved up, but people are telling me to save up another 2 million to get the GT5 f1 car...but i find it stupid to spend that much \'money\' on a standard car. If I drop all that cash (aka my time) on a car, itll be a premium car

But I\'m at the extreme races (and a few in expert), and once i finish \'Like the Wind\' ill get a car that will help me win a handful of other races till I get an F-1 car...only problem is I cant win the Like the Wind race. Supposedly people are beating it with the furai and/or the Zonda R (both of which I have..fully upgraded). But I still cant win the races

and i dont know nearly enough about tuning to do anything substantial enough in that area

Have you checked the oil if it needs change for the Zonda? Many tend to forget to change the oil in their cars and they dont get the full performance of their upgrades

I assume you are referring to the A-Spec, right?

Anyways, the F1 car although its a standard it does wonders in beating a shitload of races without effort. You can buy it and use it in various B-Spec races that allows it to race which will give you back lots of money and unlock many cars easily

i ended up just splurging and buying a corvette zr1 and race modding it to win those races, lol. It\'s a cool car so i wanted it...just will take me a bit longer to get the F1.

I figured whats the point in playing if im not going to race out of frustration

But the car I won isnt as good as I was expecting..was skidding all over the place. not that I gave it very long before shutting the game off

If i can leave my b-spec driver to do his own thing and he actually wins, yea. But both of my drivers have been pretty shitty. So I could get the cash quicker playing A-spec. If i can leave my driver alone, then maybe ill start doing that

I looked through the list of cars i\'d get from B-spec and none of them seem any better than the cars I already have

But looking at the "minimalist buying guide" i guess i need to do like the wind B-spec...but i barely won that so who knows how my B-speccer will do
Title: GT5 Official Thread.

If you havent progressed with B-spec giving your drivers the Zonda R in whatever race they can use it, 90% chances there are they are going to kick ass even if they are shitty, which will give you extra cash to aim for very fast cars. And believe me the PD F1 car is a very valuable asset even if its not a premium. Its pretty much unbeatable
