Im still avoiding hearing anything about the story, which is all that really matters when it comes to trying to avoid spoilers

Post by: Viper_Fujax on September 25, 2009, 11:41:02 PM: Im still avoiding stuff like the 20 minute videos and developer interviews since retards like jeff keighly find stuff out about the ending, then ask the developer "is this what happens at the end of the game?" while the developer is like "....uhhh (how the fuck did he know) youll have to play to find out"...bugs the shit out of me when he asks how the story progresses instead of what to expect gameplay-wise...thought a part of the reason to play the games was to figure out the story as you go

but yea..i watch all the trailers to get hyped for the game and i loved that one. both of these games have had some of the best trailers i\'ve seen for a game.

Post by: clips on September 26, 2009, 05:56:02 AM: I "might" get this game....i was looking so forward to the first one, but when i actually played it....i was bored or confused, because i just didn\'t know what to do next..."mission wise"...i guess it didn\'t help that i didn\'t spend to much time with it, but still....the mechanics were ok i honestly just wondered around for about an half hour trying to get something done.

Meh..at the very least i\'ll rent it, but the game seems like it\'s a blast to play, so maybe i was doing something wrong.

not watching any more previews/videos/etc. but this mini series is pretty good. gives a background of the story that leads into AC2. Seems like theyre putting a lot of effort in making the main character\'s personality/backstory be a bigger part of the story. Altair was badass, but his dailogue was kind of shitty. and they only hinted at him having a wife and no other information about him

I got it for AC1, and use the box for shit but the figure was really shitty. This time the figure is a lot better but the box is a little too big. The 2 map area that comes with it will get released but I dont know if theyll charge for them later (the developer said everyone would get access to everything at some point)

One thing i notice is the free running is a little more arcadey. In AC I there were moments where you\'d think "theres no way in hell hed physically be able to do that", but with this ezio seems way stronger and climbs even faster. But im sure it\'ll seem like the norm after a few hours.

edit: the blending was arguably retarded in the 1st one...i love how they implement it in this one. way more free flowing

ACI was all about perfecting the gameplay mechanics/the cities, but they ran out of time and had to make the actual gameplay limited to a few things.
1) Here you have a notoriety system (how much the guards recognize you)
2) a whole system (using meters) on how quickly a guard sees you to recognizes you
3) money system to buy armor, medicine, other shit.
4) Blending you actually move freely from one group of people to another, never pressing a button to blend
5) Cool optional stuff to do (puzzles is one of them)
6) Other stuff I\'m forgetting or havent gotten to.

If you liked ACI\'s gameplay, but thought it was shallow, you\'ll love this game

btw, bizio, i\'ll be there in May, so if you hear about some crazy American running on rooftops.....

Post by: BizioEE on December 16, 2009, 11:51:16 AM: I got it; I didn\'t get so used with the controls yet, first time I play AC, and I just tried 1 hour. The atmosphere is great, and Game-play unique. I think I will love this game.
