Title: The plastic car maker Saturn goes bye bye.
Post by: GmanJoe on October 01, 2009, 06:11:02 AM
GM is going to shut down Saturn at the end of this year, which is pretty much oh....immediate.

Penske backed out of buying Saturn when the manufacturer (said to be Nissan) said it would not continue to build the Saturn line under the Saturn badge (prolly coz it wouldn\'t sell).

My mom had a plastic Saturn. After a 8 or so years it died and no one could bring it back, not their mechanic and not even the factory.

Losing your job, your car, and your car company?  That sounds like pretty much the worst day ever!

I was never a fan of saturn...the only car that looked decent was the roadster that they had.
