Taxpayers at all income levels could be hit with over $1.5 trillion in new taxes, fees, and other costs despite Obama\'s repeated promises that he would not raise taxes "one dime" on those earning less than $250,000 a year. Details of several new taxs that would disproportionately affect affect the middle and lower classes.
What happened to not raising taxes for 95% of Americans?

Most of the bills mentioned in that article hasn\'t been passed or signed by the president. Even if they were, so what? Don\'t want to pay these "taxes" or whatever they are? Here\'s a simple solution.
Buy health insurance. Stop smoking. Buy generic drugs. These are actions that save you a lot more money than the "taxes" would have cost you.

wait wait wait...are you telling me that a president that used "i wont raise taxes" while campaigning ended up raising taxes during presidency?...holy fucking shit...
i thought we were going to fix the deficit with rainbows and unicorns

Anyone who voted for him and actually thinks he won\'t raise taxes shouldn\'t be aloud to vote.

Anyone who votes for any president that promises not to raise taxes that actually thinks they won\'t shouldn\'t be allowed to vote*

You\'re jumping the gun there a bit...kennedy, as was stated alot of those proposals haven\'t been approved or signed and some will most likely be rejected altogether....I will say tho,..that i do not like how he\'s considering forcing folks to purchase insurance if you don\'t have it,..what about if you can\'t afford it?
Does he actually think that folks are walking around with no insurance because they actually CAN afford it? This is why no matter who\'s in there, dems or repubs...these guys are living in a fantasy world...i get that at some point taxes are going to have to be raised, there really is no way around it, but that one provision about forcing folks to buy insurance is a bit idiotic, and i think he needs to stop listening to some of those far-left wing nuts in his party.

Voting and birthing babies are two things people should have to pass tests for. That\'s my platform when I run for president.
