Woody Harrison is the shit. What a real zombie move should be about. This is what shaun of the dead tried to be.

Hey Shaun of the Dead is still good. It\'s more slapstick. Zombieland starts off with the over-the-top gore humor but kinda drags in the middle, in my opinion. It was good with a decent story, good characters and a great cameo. Not sure it unseats Shaun of the Dead for me, though.

^Agreed for the most part.  Needed one more good action scene in the middle to break up the boring.  The celebrity cameo seemed like a huge waste of time, I was thinking to myself, "Did I actually pay to sit through this?"  Was BM a producer or something?
Whatever genre you\'re talking about I think 28 Days Later is the best zombie flick.

I laughed hard and with glee.
But since I have a paranoia about zombies, I think I would have been a lot more careful then these guys standing in the open chit chatting when there are zombies roaming about the country side.

The zombies themselves seemed really inconsistent in the movie, in the beginning and the end they were actually a threat but when you saw them in the middle it was like they were just there for some background images while they tried to pull together a story.  Don\'t get me wrong, I enjoyed the movie (and the way they used type throughout), but I have to agreee with THX and Eik, just got kind of tired in the middle.
Thoroughly enjoyed the celebrity cameo though, even if it was extremely contrived.

Decent flick, but Shaun of the Dead is ten times better.
Anyone who disagrees is an idiot.

I don\'t disagree. But it is more like 3 times better, Kanye.

Also agree, it was pretty good, but Shaun of the Dead was better.
