For me, the three standouts are assassin\'s creed 2 (duh), uncharted 2, and modern warfare 2. (lot of 2\'s this year)
MW2 is fun but I dont get any more out of it than i did with MW1 (the new killstreaks were the only thing that separates it a bit for me)
so it\'s a huge tossup between UC2 and AC2. AC2 is a better deal with the huge world, bunch of crap to do, and I love the gameplay probably more than anything else that came out this whole generation.
that being said, there\'s no \'WOW\' moment in AC2, like uncharted, since it\'s such a big game. it\'s more about the overall experience. UC2 is shorter but amazingly paced, some of the best set-pieces ever, great gameplay, and is the closest thing we\'ve had to an interactive movie that doesn\'t rely on cutscenes.
So, while ill get more time and overall enjoyment out of AC2, Uncharted 2 has to be my game of the year

Uncharted 2 for me. Did not play AC2 yet. Will never play MW2.
Uncharted 2 would easy win for graphic, sound, gameplay. Then you have story, voice acting which is perfect. Pace of the game which blend perfectly puzzle, action and adventure. Top it with an excellent online game, which is quite surprising for a first time from ND..

for me it\'s MW2, since I primarily play only FPS\'s and it is definitely the best (mulitiplayer) one to come out this year. So for me, it\'s goty

1) Uncharted2 : Marvellous Graphics, great sound and the best voice-acting, it was like playing a movie. I loved the action, the story, the mix action/adventure and puzzles, in a word, fantastic. MP is great too, can\'t stop playing co-op, and I only saw one mode, too busy with this one.
2) KZ2 and COD MW2 : can\'t decide.
3) AC2 : Unique, but I\'ll give my full opinion when I finish the Game.
Uncharted2 is my Goty.

I don\'t have a ps3, yet, but I will say I haven\'t played Creed 1 or 2 and Uncharted 1 or 2. However I will say my choice is Fallout 3. Yes it\'s just like Oblivion only futuristic. But I like how they made it into a some-what horror, survival, rpg, sci-fi, action, can be stealthy game. I also like how you have more choices to say in a conversation rather than just picking a topic and that\'s it. The customizable weapons are nice, plus I like the V.A.T.S. system. Favorite thing to do? Either throw a gernade or use the hunting rifle in that system. The shotgun works pretty good as well. So I\'d say Fallout 3 is mine.
