Some tidbits:

-"Much slower pace than God of War or Dante\'s Inferno". Large emphasis on exploration and platforming
-Classic CV special items(daggers, holy water, etc) confirmed to be in
-Pay homage to SCV4
-No snuffing/whipping out candles to get items, but you do get items by smashing objects with whips
-Two masks: God and Devil
-Golems like SOTC bosses
-Kojima not creatively involved but they "Might stick a cardboard box in there or something"

Edited :  Thoughts ?

Looking Fantastic, Day one !  A deep story, new, different enemies, huge epic Bosses, more powerful AI for clever enemies,
more platforming and exploration compared to God of War3.  And I like a lot the art style.

Yeah...a bit much like god of war,...same deal with dante\'s inferno...but amazingly...both dante\'s inferno and this game here look great....i\'m gonna be going broke from so many hot games droppin\' this year....:(

  Komani has released a trailer for the first of two new expansions for the game, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.

If you played the game Castlevania: Lords of Shadows, then you know there are a handful of questions that need answering thanks to a surprise epilogue. Those answers may have to wait for a sequel, but Konami is planning two new DLCs that will help to bridge the gap between the events immediately following the final boss fight, and the events in the epilogue which were set long after the ending.

The first of the two DLC, “Reverie” will take you back to the Vampire Queen Carmilla’s castle, where you will trek through three levels with the help of Carmilla’s daughter, Laura, who you will also take control of in certain sections.

The second DLC, “Resurrection”, which Konami has claimed to be the bigger of the two, will feature the return of a “notorious enemy”.

“Reverie” will be available to download on the PSN and Xbox Live on March 30.
