[size=+1]Procedural Destruction :[/size] Having buildings with fully explorable interiors, make it possible to have procedurally destructible environment.
The Procedural System is using PhysX as physics middleware and does not require dedicated hardware or additional software like Apex Destruction.
This System allows full destruction of buildings interiors at a level of details never seen before.
Each floor of each building in the city is destroyable !
Only the portions that are immediately needed are physicalized for collision detection and response.
The use of this "lazy generation" scheme combined with a modular system and instancing, allows the use of only a fraction of the memory that a model of the entire interior and exterior city would otherwise require.


GTA5 and many other games such us FPS, TPS, etc should use this Structure Procedural System.

God the comments on that demo are so idiotic.  People saying how the doors don\'t splinter, etc...  Do they not understand this is just a concept demo?  Friggen tards.  So glad I\'m of the pong generation and can appreciate this crap.

Interesting concept though.  There gets to be a point though blowing up interior walls and such that the believability isn\'t there.  All buildings have a few load baring walls that if you took them out the whole building would crash down.  I guess all of that would be taken into account in a real game.

^^Haha..yeah i was reading the comments as well...those idiots fail to realize that it\'s just a demo showcasing what the engine can do.
