Just follow the instructions in this link as it really does work
http://kotaku.com/5464839/want-the-heavy-rain-demo-right-now-heres-how
I am downloading it right now as we speak :D
1.7 gb download!

played it earlier, and it kind of reminds me of those multi choice story books you used to get at school where you could make choices in what actions to take. the controls take a bit of getting used to as well.
-
Yes they are weird at first but you do get used to it. I have played it a few times now and seleted different options just to see what happens. I does work quite well, pity there are only 2 levels but a nice taster all the same :D

I was just about to post this, lol.
Played the demo a couple minutes ago. I liked it more than I thought I would, but I\'m still not 100% sold on it. If there\'s nothing else released at the same time (too lazy to check) I might go ahead and get it.
The controls are a little weird. When I was climbing up the muddy hill and kept messing up I was thinking \'its harder to press these buttons than it is to climb up a damn hill\' lol

yeah, I found pressing the right buttons to be somewhat challenging. when I had to press and hold a sequence of buttons, I kept screwing up. in the first section where you play that fat fucker who is trying to question the hooker, I couldn\'t get past the dumpster in the alley. it was annoying me until I realised I was pressing R1 instead of L1

I haven\'t seen it, but aren\'t they making the button sequences purposefully frustrating so you can have the frustrations the character is having?
And do the button sequences change each time you try it?

yea, it looks like stuff will be harder to pull off when your character is under distress which is cool, but the stuff that cerb and I are talking about is a little different.
It\'s like you play twister with your fingers and hold L1, then hold X, Then hold box, etc while not letting go of the previous buttons your holding down. Sounds easier than what it is since some of the buttons disappear so you can let go of them, but its hard to let go of the right ones since itll mess up if you let go of one you\'re supposed to be holding onto. And that\'s usually to do stuff like squeeze between a wall and a dumpster or something pretty easy to do in life, lol. I\'m pretty sure the button sequence stays the same, or else itd be way too difficult

When is it coming to the US side? I\'d like to get it too!!!!!
-
just make another account on the same psn but for a euro country er whatever
I made a new zealand account (looked up a random shop in new zealand and used all their info) back when the killzone 2 demo came out..works great for random demos that dont come out on NA servers.
then just go through the site on the first post

I\'m getting this game in 2 weeks, I want the full WOW factor on day one :)
-
can\'t say that I am committed to buying it when it\'s released, maybe down the line somewhere, but not on release I don\'t think
-
I will be. Looking for something new. Was thinking about bioshock, but I think I\'m just going to wait. I\'m only home for 3 days over the next 2 weeks anyway.
