I just finished setting up my aquarium. I had been planning this for a long time and after 1 month cycling, the water is ready to receive the first fishes. 200L + natural plants and wood. There you go:

Nice...i haven\'t had an aquarium since i was a kid....my fish of choice was guppies, and those things f**k like rabbits. They tend to have like 7-8 babies at a time....meh but don\'t be a wuss like me, fill that thing up with some pirahna\'s(spel) or sharks....:fro:

Awesome aquarium. I\'d be proud to have that at home. No pets other than our resident hamster for us, though.
-
Nice aquarium. You should get a shark.

My brother has some that will be featured in catalogs and websites. I\'ll get pics up later...
and I\'ll send you a private msg later mike...

Looks great! Someday when I have the time to invest, I\'d like to venture in the world of aquariums.
Not that I\'m overly familiar with the many species, but what are you planning to put in?
-
Thank you all for the comments. No sharks for the moment ;)
Ok Chizzy.

Guppies, mollies, xyphos, corydoras, ancistrus and some snails ;)

Too much work for me. Salinity and acidity must be within a certain range. Temperature too.
I\'ll just keep Titan as a pet.
-
I look at that and almost expect to see a dinosaur walk past or something.

Gorgeous. great work Seed :D

Looks great. I\'d never have the patience to wait a month for the water. I\'d dump shit in on day 2.

That means your babies may die in few days. Once the aquarium is cycled and ready, you can start adding animals, never before.
These are my first fishes:

I know. We always called our little aquarium "The place fish go before they die"

Wee-Bay?
What??
New pictures. Plants are growing fast and I\'ll start pruning tomorrow. Red cherries and some snails arrive tomorrow. After that, a group of 6 corydoras will be welcomed :)
(At the very end you can see a detail of my natural trunk. The mold in there is typical of fresh, still alive wood. It will disappear in some weeks.)

So...is this a salt water aquarium? Coz that\'s what I thought you had.
-
That\'s awesome. As great as it looks, I\'m pretty sure I\'d never have the patience to mess with the plants and stuff on a regular basis.

Nope, it\'s a tropical comunitary aquarium, fresh water. All the species you can see in there (both animals and plants) are typical of tropical and fresh water biotypes.
Salt water aquariums are beautiful, perhaps the aim of everybody who likes this hobby, but they\'re very expensive and really hard to maintain. I will stay in fresh water I think ;)

It does not need so much work. Just a change of water, prouning and fertilize once a week. And food for the animals on daily basis, but if you forget to do so one day, it doesn\'t matter; take into account that these fishes, in natural environments, may not find food in a week and they perfectly survive ;)

Picture update ;)
