Killzone 3 is 3D, uses Arc.
Killzone 3 is set to arrive in stereoscopic 3D and use Sony\'s motion wand - rumoured to be called \'Arc\' - a source has told CVG.
According to our contact, the Guerrilla Games sequel will launch as part of a big 3D push for the PlayStation 3 this Christmas - far earlier than we expected.
While our source is unsure if the follow-up is indeed the "Sony sequel" that looks set to be unveiled tonight, we\'re assured that the information on the game itself is "rock solid".
Earlier this year PSM3 Magazine also went on record that Killzone 3 information would arrive in "the coming months".
CVG has contacted Sony for comment.

granted this 3D fad is lasting longer than I expecting, it\'s going to wear out for one reason or another. This happens every decade, but maybe as the technology gets better it\'s getting stronger legs.
I still think companies invested in it are caught up in the hype train and will be disappointed when the mass audience doesn\'t adopt buying 3D capable stuff. I know I wont be buying anything any time soon

Do you know much about it Viper? I just shot a 3D basketball game for ESPN last week. It\'s pretty freaking incredible. Still in its infancy, it\'s pretty dumb to say it\'s not going to last. This is not like adopting HD where people had to invest thousands as early adopters to get into the game. 3D TVs are only a couple hundred more than regular HD TVs. So you\'d be pretty stupid to spend decent money on a tv and have it not be 3D capable.
I for one held off on buying a high end projection unit for my theater because of anticipation of this happening. I figure I\'ll get a few years off of the one I have and take the plunge when front projection units start coming out.

Ehh..I\'ll be late to the party as usual waiting for prices to come down as they always do.

I think growing up in the 90s jaded me with 3d. Because it was big then and it was one of the stupidest things i\'d seen. I was like 10 and knew it was a bs gimmick. I especially liked when tv shows like home improvement started putting them in shows just because they could, and their only use of it was shooting nerf balls at the screen and stupid stuff like that.
I\'ll have to see all this stuff first-hand before I think it\'s worthwhile, especially in gaming.

I have pictures on my iphone of the cameras they used last week. It was pretty cool to see it in it\'s infancy.
Panasonic just announced a two lens camera for 20 grand. Looks like it has two chips and prints to two cards separately. Companies are pushing this hard. Hell theaters absolutely have to. I\'ll be damned if I\'m ever going to a theater again unless it\'s in 3D.
started a thread.

Tretton “Promises” a Killzone 3 and a Killer E3
While talking with Geoff Keighley on the latest episode of GameTrailers TV, Jack Tretton talks about E3, Guerrilla Games and the possibility of Killzone 3.
Keighley questioned Tretton on Sony’s E3 showing, particularly Killzone3. To which Tretton replied:
“Well we own Guerrilla studios and they did a great job on Killzone 1 and 2, I don’t know whether you’ll see announcements about it [at E3], but I can promise you we’ll see a Killzone 3.”
When asked what Sony is going to bring to E3:
“This is just the frosting on the cake. I’m saving the batter for E3. We will absolutely bring the heat.”
“There’s a lot to talk about. You gotta be at our press conference, there is a lot to talk about”
The episode is still currently airing at the time of this writing, we’ll update with a Gametrailers.com link to the episode when it becomes available.

The Masters @ Augusta will be in 3d. :)

Private showing. Still experiment to get them ready for world cup.
I read some stuff on the golf tests and it\'s pretty cool. Coming out of the traps looks really neat.
