Here is a story they aired on ESPN last night.  She plays in Logan\'s little league park.  She\'s a lot of fun to watch.  They don\'t mention that when she isn\'t playing pitcher she plays shortstop and that she\'s hit several balls over the fence this year.

even more impressive given her moms one of those crazy beauty pageant parents

might end up being a waste though since I dont think there are any women\'s baseball leagues, which boggles my mind why they\'d only really have softball. Maybe some small niche areas there\'s baseball leagues but nothing even semi-profitable

She\'ll probably go D1 for baseball, but it would be a small D1 school.  Whereas if she would just jump to softball she could be an olympic athlete and go to a top D1 school..  I don\'t get it.  We are going to their game Friday.  They have a really good all star team.  finger\'s crossed they\'ll get through this weekend.

Went and saw their game tonight.  The starting pitcher is freaking sick.  He\'s probably close to 6 feet tall, 200 pounds.  As a 12 year old pitching from 46 feet that is nuts.  He throws in the mid 70s and it\'s just sick . So fast from only 45 feet.  

Chelsea came in the last inning.  I\'ve seen her pitch regular games, but it\'s fun to watch her against kids whos never see her.  Her fast ball is in the mid 60\'s.  She only threw a few knuckle balls.  But damn it\'s wicked.  Probably in the high 50\'s and that thing just floats.  She also throws a good curve an an offspeed.  She only pitched one inning.  no one hit her.

They won a huge game tonight so hopefully they will get to go to state.  Then regionals..  Then williamsport.

I may sound like an idiot but is there a rule in MLB that women can\'t play?

I saw that on ESPN the other night. It\'s pretty freaking cool, they have some Asian girl that throws a nasty knuckle that either plays in the Japanese leagues or the minors here.
