During the last few minutes of Sony\'s Gamescom press conference after Ted Price had revealed the new Ratchet and Clank game, All 4 One, there was one more surprise that was to be shown by Insomniac, Resistance 3.

Revealed via a live action teaser trailer showing a man hopping a train filled with vagabonds (who\'ve probably lost their livlihoods due to the Chimeran war) as it travels through a mid 1950\'s war torn New York, the trailer ends with the train being attacked by the Chimera (the Resistance franchise\'s iconic antagonists) as the vagabonds try to fight them off in a seemingly hopeless battle. You can see the trailer at the bottom of this post.

Resistance 3 was first hinted at in a leaked picture taken from the set of the upcoming movie, Battle: Los Angeles. The picture (see pic above) was of a billboard with Resistance 3\'s logo hinting at the game taking place in New York City (which the trailer has confirmed).

I feel I will like this one a lot more than R2.

well, I was a bit disappointed by R2, not a bad game, but yes, I was expecting another game, not the one I played.  Hope INSOMNIAC put more effort in the story, and hope they have fresh ideas this time around.
