I was in the air force for 6 yrs.Aircraft mechanic.

I was on KC 10 it was a great plane.Stationed at Mc Guire A.F.B. NJ.

I was in Altus, Oklahoma. MAC training base.

Did a month TDY in Dover Delaware.

I have been all over the world on tdy.Saudi Arabia,Germany,England,Hawaii,Guam,Japan,Azores,And all over the United States.Was a great expierience that i would have never been able to do without the military.

Did 3 years active duty and 4 years active reserve in the Army. Spent over 2 years in Germany during active duty (in Kaiserslautern or \'K-town\', just down the road from Rammstein AFB). Went over to Saudi Arabia for 5 months for Desert Shield/Storm. Got tired of the Mickey Mouse BS after that and decided not to re-enlist.

Still, I have never regretted my decsion to join the military and had a lot of fun while I was in.

Yeah I have a tank in my backyard, because Australia is 99% nothing I can shoot shells into Kangaroos and Koalas with nobody getting hurt!

I have lived on or next to a military base my whole life.  Kind of the norm. living in north america.  WE have bases everywhere..

Doh :o Yep thats what I did, I\'m used to another site :rolleyes: Samwise, I had fun in the Army but sometimes I wanted out soooo bad. Looking back it was good for me as a person tho.
