Stumbled upon this trailer today while looking up PSVita stuff. Looks like a pretty interesting game.

Looks like the DLC coming out in a couple weeks will be the last one for the story. Kinda sad. Was definitely hoping for one more single player DLC to bring some closure to the storyline and the cliffhanger at the end.

There will be no more The Last Of Us story DLC following the release of Left Behind, a Naughty Dog staff member has announced.

Recently, Naughty Dog released a full cinematic trailer for Left Behind, posting it on the official PlayStation Blog.

After it was posted, Naughty Dog community strategist Eric Monacelli replied to some gamers' questions in the blog's comments thread.

One player asked if there would be more single-player DLC on the way, to which Monacelli replied: "There's multiplayer DLC up next. We don't have any more single player DLC planned."

Elsewhere in the discussion, Monacelli confirmed that Left Behind would be "a good length" and that new music had been recorded especially for it.

Left Behind is the single-player expansion for The Last of Us, and serves as a prequel to the main campaign following protagonist Ellie before her encounter with Joel. In it, Ellie is reunited with her best friend Riley, who had been missing for over a month.

As well as the trailer, Sony recently published a behind-the-scenes interview about the DLC. It reveals more about Left Behind's focus on exploration and the casting of Riley, who first appeared in The Last of Us: American Dreams comic book series.

Left Behind comes out tomorrow. Why did they have to choose Valentines Day of all days. Been waiting for a single player DLC since June and I have to spend time with the girlfriend :(

Welp. Guess its time to move this topic to PS4 Discussion. Seriously though. I don't get why they're doing this. The game was great. The DLC was great. Leave it alone. Not everything needs an upres. And if they are, just wait a few years till we forget about it and bring it back to light. To be honest, I hope these rumors aren't true.

According PlayStation Turkey VP Sercan Sulun in a video posted to the Turkish CNN video game website Multiplayer, The Last of Us will soon be coming to the PlayStation 4 as both a physical and digital release.

NeoGaf user "Quirah" (as posted by user "chadskin") posted a translation writing that Sulun says, "Sequel is not coming right now as far as I know, but I can say that [the] first game will be released this summer for PS4 as a physical and digital copy with enhanced graphics," in response to a question about a potential The Last of Us sequel.

At this point, this rumor has not been officially confirmed by Sony, and the announcement would be very strange since The Last of Us is also a rumored PlayStation Now title. The up-res gambit worked for the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition update, but sometimes executives are just confused/wrong. Just a few years ago, the managing director of Ubisoft Brazil announced that Assassin's Creed IV was going to be set in Brazil.

But what do you think? Is there any truth to Sulun's claim?

It's cool for the people who havent played the last of us...but what fucking loser hasnt played the last of us :p

i'm trying to do a second playthrough now to do collectables, but im finding it a bit tedious. I put so much brain power and effort in the first go around that im still drained lol. plus its hard to enjoy the story/game when you have to keep pausing and watching a walkthrough

Really? I'm slowly working on my third playthrough and didn't feel it was tedious through any of them. Its still good old fashioned beat the shit out of people fun.

New multiplayer dlc comes out today. It includes new maps and weapons as well as a new difficulty for single player. Man its been months since I played multiplayer. I bought the season pass so I should jump back into it and get my 20 bucks worth lol. Online is fun though.

it looks like whoever pre-order the last of us on ps4 before sony reduce the price from $59.99 to $49.99 won't get a $10 discount.

Well that sucks. To be honest, I have no intention of getting the Last of Us on PS4. It was a great game on PS3, pushed the console to its limits and that's how I'll remember it. Sure the new graphics will look nice and polished on PS4 but to me its a PS3 masterpiece. Also seems a bit gimmicky and a grab for money on Sony's part to me. Considering there is no real update to the gameplay.

you might be right that it might be a bit gimmicky.  But for those that never had this game on ps3, it would be nice to play it the first time on ps4 in 1080p x 60fps. :)

it seems like a bit of a rip-off for owners that had this game on the ps3 version already, but it does sounds like a good idea for people that hasn't had this game on ps3 but want to try it on ps4 version.

look like Sony changed their mind and refund $10 for those that pre-order TLOU before the price drop.

that wouldve been completely fucked up if they hadn't. punish the people that are most loyal lol

but id agree with titan. I dont really have an interest in spending more than 25 bucks on something i've played through. it'd be cool if they released Left Behind as a stand-alone ps4 DLC. I'd like to play that for the first time on ps4

Left behind was great. Totally worth the money though I got the season pass lol. It was also pretty challenging and it told a great story of Ellie's past while also contributing to the main story.

i just read the latest news that the last of us for ps4 would have constant 1080p x 60fps.  They are working very hard to keep the game running smoothly at 60fps in 1080p for both single and multi-players.

I'm eventually going to get a ps4, but I'm already happy with the last of us for ps3...even tho the ps4 has the dlc included, which I'm sure it's good, but for me it just doesn't warrant a re-purchase. Last of Us was a great game tho... B)
