I learned I have no idea what I'm doing :-[ I'm not very good with programming or styling, especially with CSS, PHP, etc. I spent a very long time reading the SMF community for hints and tricks and tutorials but I couldn't make sense out of it. I could just download a generic theme but I really want our forum to stand out. I could really use some help from someone here because then it could free up my time to focus on marketing the site and bringing more members here (which is my strong suit anyway, not programming and design). Who wants to help?

I know css, I just don't know how it works with this forum software.
back in the day, all I needed to do was edit a single style sheet. that was years ago now though, and I'm sure things have moved on since then. what exactly does styling entail? do you have to do it through the control panel in a WYSIWYG type of fashion, or do you still get full control of the css sheet?

It can be done either way. SMF makes it pretty simple. I just have no idea what I'm doing. PM me. I'll compile the tutorials and see what you think.

I'm liking the evolution of this new site. Keep up the good work. Fonts are bit tiny for me, though.

in firefox, which I mostly used when creating it, the fonts were ok, but viewing it in the other browsers, it does seem smaller.
I'll look into fixing it when I get some time.
