Yea, i've built a few myself.. So i thought why not let someone else have a go. ;)
Id show you what it'll look like but i'm getting this error "The upload folder is full. Please try a smaller file and/or contact an administrator."
The file is 102kb.
-
Hmm. I'll take a look. See why you're getting that error.
-
Shit dude. Forgot to do this yesterday. I upped the file size limit. It was low, lol. Give it another try. If it errors again, I'll increase the max upload (should work since I set the max attachment to 5 megabytes).
-
still same error, do you have the upload directory write protected on the server?
-
shouldnt be. ill check when i get home from physical therapy
-
Should be fixed now. The folder reached its limit on how much space the attachment folder can have. I changed it to no limit :)

Guitar that will be getting custom made.
-
whoa. i didn't know soulgrind can build guitars. you must be pretty smart to build that. cheer to you. btw, that guitar pic looks pretty good too. is it an electric guitar?
-
that guitar is being built for me.. this was my last build
-
looks cool. can you play guitar very well? i suppose so since you know how to build one.
-
id say I'm somewhere around intermediate. Play a few covers, jam with some mates..
-
that tele copy is sweet. my bro just built a similar one, but with humbuckers.
-
here's the one my brother built. Sweet bogus decal and everything. And here's my new baby, a 1967 Epiphone Casino - super minty fresh. It was under a bed in Georgia for 40+ years...
-
nice man, the fender guitar looks great too. Did he decal it himself? i personally don't used trademark decals on guitars i build simply because of the whole "omg, how dare you" bs that comes with it.
i'll post some pics of all my gats (shit and good) tomorrow. I've built some, modded others and have i think around 11 to 15 guitars now.
Hows that epiphone sound? i got a cheap one and gave it some hot modded hum buckers. The setup was F@#ked. The fretboard was dry and had like a cracked feel about it. So i had to spend awhile fixing it up. It was brand new too, wasn't happy.

He did everything himself except he bought the body & neck from Warmouth. Ne's never gonna sell it, so it's not like he's trying to pass it off as real. The Casino is great, tho the trem arm is missing & damn near impossible to find. The casino is completely hollowbody, so it's got a distinctive tone. The beatles used them starting in '65, and John used his (stripped and refinished) until the very end. Paul still uses his in concert. The new Epi stuff is made in Korea, but they also use inferior wood on fretboards due to the problems with getting the good stuff.

whoa, another member knows how to make guitar. interesting.
