Title: A couple PS2 questions...
Post by: Eaglepower on December 13, 2000, 03:19:53 PM
What is the best way to shut off the PS2, by the back on and off switch, or in Standby mode?
When the PS2 game is in the system, does it spin on the tray or is elevated inside the unit?

Reset the PS2 first then shut off.

At first i just reset then clicked it off, but now i reset then put it in stand-by, cos I heard that that was better - im not sure if it is tho, so don\'t hold it against me

but I hadn\'t thought about it till now. I guess I really should switch it off when I\'m not using it. I just use the reset button and press it until the light goes red. I will be interested to see what others do.

Holding the button in till it turns red is fine. I leave mine in that \'sleep\' mode all the time, and I haven\'t had any problems.
